So lonely, what is wrong with me ?
This photo was taken during a walk through the wonderful autumnal vineyards (Ramsthal, Germany)

The Quiraing and Old man of Storr, Isle of Skye, Scotland. A weird wild wonderful landscape...note the patch of blue sky !!!
The Outcast
I watched this swan circle Raymond Pool at Bombay Hook NWR. When it attempted to land close to a group of about thirty Tundra Swans, the tundra swans all reacted and became very vocal, so this swan flew up, circled the pool and tried again with the same reaction from Tundra swans. After the third attempt at landing this swan realized it was not welcome and flew off.
Only when I looked at my photographs did I realize that this swan was a mute swan. Obviously tundra swans seem to dislike mute swans very much.

Arrived in Goatswood met with the same hypocritical judgement. No matter what town I arrive in, if it is not what the locals perceive as "normal", then I am perceived as abnormal. At least I can resupply here. Everyone loves money as a common denominator.
During the depressing weather over the past few days I was itching to take some shots so I decided to head out to Richmond Park even though it was raining. I sat under the tree to the right for a while waiting for some light. Just as the sun set the colours changed a little and the rain stopped, the tree on the left caught my eye as it seemed 'lost & lonely' under the moody skies... As if abandoned by the surrounding foliage.

The ruined chapel on Langness Peninsula with the Milky Way Galactic Core shining beautifully in the early hours of the morning. We only have a few more weeks of truly dark skies here on the Isle of Man before the endless twilight of summer begins to wash away the stars in the night sky. March and April have been very productive for me this year with plenty of astrophotography images in the bag. To emphasise that, it’s actually been over two months since I last took a photo in daylight! Yikes, I hope I can remember how to take non-astro photos!

I have featured this tree before but with a different edit. This tree is obviously "different" to other trees, some may say misshapen or even ugly, however I think beauty is in everything and I choose to see the beauty in this creation of nature.
If you're going to be outcast, there are few better places for it to happen. Twilight, just before sunrise in the Atchafalaya Basin, Louisiana, USA, November 2019

A tree stands out from the crowd. It looks as if it died of loneliness, an outcast in the extremes of weather on top of Great Mell Fell.

“A young outcast will often feel that there is something wrong with himself, but as he gets older, grows more confident in who he is, he will adapt, he will begin to feel that there is something wrong with everyone else.”

i was going to wait til tomorrow to post this, cause i wasnt entirely sure if i liked it... but the designer of the gown posted it to her tumblr already and people seemed to like it so i got excited, haha.
anyway, this isnt even close to the image i had in my head when we went out this morning (and why yes, it did snow again today....) but considering the million and one things we had against us this morning, i guess i should be happy with it. the snow was making krystals hair really flat, and our poor kitty was extremely frightened. not to mention i only half-function at 6am.
i also dont really think my story comes across with this pose, but thats ok. ;)
model: krystal peters
dress: irregular pearl designs
hair and makeup was a combo of me and krystal working together!
The Outcast
Another winter scene from Hokkaido and it was proper cold this day but really exciting as we had some great light. I hope I have done it justice
The beginning of a new project where I'll be following these beautiful and wild silver birch trees in Snowdonia National Park, north Wales.
