This lonely bare aspen was intriguing to me against the backdrop of dense evergreens. I had to come back to this place a couple times to try and get decent light. Then finally on this attempt the light dappled through the clouds for me. Taken in Grand Teton National Park earlier this year. Thanks for taking a look.

We came across this lone tree, in the middle of a vast open field with only rocks as company. With beautiful clear blue skies and the sun warming the area, I forgot for a bit that it was November.

Still on Utakleiv Beach and away from the main body of rocks, I found a small huddled bunch of rocks on the sandy section to form the foreground for this image. As I've said before, this beach was one of my favourite locations, and there will be more images yet from here.
The Outcasts are a ragtag team of scavengers from across different species, backgrounds, and age groups. The thing that unites them aside from their dirty clothes and rusty armor is the fact that they have all been cast aside by the Empire in some form or another. Hunted and unwanted, they were all alone before they met each other and had nowhere to call home, but in becoming scavengers, they have found new purpose and become a family. Together, these misfits travel the galaxy looking for valuable items to salvage that have been thrown or cast out by others much like they were - and find the value in themselves along the way.

Situated on a stretch of the long distance walk The West Highland Way, this tree sits alone and apart from its evergreen cousins in the distance. It serves as a reminder of the natural trees such this rowan and the more dramtic caladonian pines which once dominated the Scottish landscape.
The West Highland Way is a walk which covers 96 miles or 154km from Milngavie near Glasgow to the West Coast town of Fort William

Been pulling up some old images especially zoo and nature shots and digitally enhancing them artistically.
This lonely Penguin has gotten an icy cold reception by his friends.
M2 locomotive number 1134, a former resident at the Virginia Scrap Iron & Metal yard from 1950 until 2009. M2 #1134 was moved on 24 August, receiving a cosmetic restoration and relocation to the Railroad Museum of Virginia, in Portsmouth, Virginia.
I created this custom samurai character some time ago. Of course it’s not a figure from the original Ninjago stories, but I thought it could be a good fit. Hope you like the outcome.

To identify this, is pretty hard for me, because they all look the same!! :P
It looks very little like a Tricholoma fulvum, or Tricholoma virgatum, but still share some resemblances.
Looks more like a melanoleuca cognata, or Collybia butyracea, Lactarius subdulcis, Collybia radicata. Maybe it is a Collybia peronata, Pluteus atricapillus, Mycena polygramma... or very likely, might be none of them! :(
I'm pretty clueless about this. If anyone can help me, it's very welcome ;)
I wish I had found the Amanita muscaria, the easiest mushroom to id ever :P
lol... yesterday I watched Alanis Morissette's "My Humps" video, and cracked up laughing. Ok, maybe I was a little bit under the influence of psychotropics, but I found that awesome. So make sure you drink some wine as well, if you want to watch it. ;P

A sred rocket made from recycled drums and solar panels. Seen at the La Lune: Energy Producing Art festival at Long Reef.
All sculptures generate their own energy through wind or solar power, and light up from sundown each night.
Lighting for this shot is entirely ambient moonlight.

I went for a bike ride last night in the fading sunset and I always make a point to finish each ride through this field so that I can see the sunset behind the mountains. When I stood in that spot and felt the sun on my face I was instantly reminded of Cameron and his warmth and light in my life.
I used to stand in this field and feel totally alone. I felt like the mountains were a fortress that kept me isolated from other people like me. I felt like an outcast. But then, through fate or the universe knowing what I needed at the right time, I found friends who, although live all across the world, appreciate the things that I do, see the world in the way that I do, and make me feel like I have a whole army of kindred spirits in this field with me. Cameron is one of those people who I've been fortunate to meet and get to know and be inspired by time and time again and who, when my confidence and outlook feels crowded and lost, can make me laugh and then put me back on the right road.
