Ajijic, Mexico. Radishes

Well, I finally finished twilight a couple of days ago.

It's taken me much longer to finish, than I expected?

I was so busy over the holidays, only gave me time to read before bed.

And, when I did read in bed, I could only read a few pages and I was out like a light.

Now, I'm onto New Moon.

I received New Moon for a Christmas gift from Jim.

I've never been into these kind of books, however this saga has kept me interested, I have to say...

I think I might go see the movie now?

Maybe, I can talk Jim into seeing it with me. hehehe....

It's Valentine's Day this weekend.....

Pattern:Baby Sophisticate by Linden Heflin

Yarn: Nature's Choice Organic Cotton in mustard

Needles: US 8 / 5.0 mm

This sweater was very easy to knit. The pattern was simple yet interesting enough to enjoy, and it knitted up in a matter of days. I’ve actually heard people knitting this in a day, so it’s an instant FO if your looking for that. The yarn is soft, and squishy, but it fluffs like crazy. Also my tension is not as even as I like. I guess it’s the nature of the yarn. Oh well, baby won’t mind!

With that said I think this will be a cute little sweater for my brother and sister-in-law’s baby to be!

They cut and fertilize...save on gas too.

And why not, the cost of fuel is outrageous and the grass is simply good food for them.

First we've heard of it as well, but anything to lead a healthier lifestyle

Daily walk photo in The Florida Keys.

I found them on the ground this morning. They'd fallen off our tree during the worst storms to hit Sydney in 30 years.

SAUVIE ISLAND, Ore. – Operating an organic vegetable farm requires hard work and strategic planning. Just ask Brian Wood, farm manager for Sauvie Island Organics, located about 15 miles north of downtown Portland. Brian and his crew operate a thriving Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program on the farm, which has served fresh produce to the Portland community since 1993. Over the years, staff with the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) have worked with Sauvie Island Organics to provide financial incentives and conservation assistance. NRCS on-farm projects include installing a seasonal high tunnel and integrating cover crops and crop rotations into the growing schedule. NRCS photos by Tracy Robillard.
