'Kintsukuroi is the general concept of highlighting or emphasizing imperfections, visualizing mends and seams as an additive or an area to celebrate or focus on, rather than absence or missing pieces.'

Nefekalum's fab new materials tattoo, Medusa's Gaze, reminded me a lot of the Japanese art of Kintsuku - especially with the gold in the gaps of the cracks. I added cinphul's carnal headpiece [I turned it upside down for a different look] and completed the entire outfit with various pieces for that otherworldly Mage look. Yes, the diet is going well...

“He would have told her - he would have said, it matters not if you are here or there, for I see you before me every moment. I see you in the light of the water, in the swaying of the young trees in the spring wind. I see you in the shadows of the great oaks, I hear your voice in the cry of the owl at night. You are the blood in my veins, and the beating of my heart. You are my first waking thought, and my last sigh before sleeping. You are - you are bone of my bone, and breath of my breath.”

Do you want it in?
You wanna be stressed, I'd rather have sex
You and I could die a thousand times
We can stay high or no?
Let me change your mind
Give you new fame
Make you feel shy
Keep it fifty all night
Let go
Or no
We can let it ride
Play a new game
Heavy overtime
We can do it for life
Go pro
Or no

Hello my Flickr Friends !
Today is a yellow day at Color my World Daily Group and at the fabulous *ღღ* Cosas de casa *ღღ Group the theme is “with water”. Happy yellow water day (OMG that sounds so not right !!!LOL).
A perfect summer vacation day near the swimming pool, calls for a glass of cold sparkling water (or gin ;-) ???). And who says sparkling water says macro picture of bubbles !
I will try to catch up as soon as possible with your comments and Photostreams but since I’m officially on vacation with my sons my activity on Flickr will be rather slow for the next few days …I apologize for that!! Have a beautiful day my friends!!
Thank you so much for all your lovely comments / favs/ general support / happy thoughts!! Stay safe and healthy!! And see you soon on Flickr!!

⭐️Thank you in Advance for your kind ‘Faves’ and visits they are so very much appreciated. 👍
I cannot always ‘Thank’ everyone individually, for their visits and ‘Faves’ however, I will always try to respond and thank all those that leave a ‘Comment’. If I do not reply to your 'Comment', it is not because I am ignoring you, it's because I have not seen the 'Comment'.
Your 'Comments' do not always appear in 'Notifications' or Flickr mail, so, I am sorry for any delay in responding. Often your 'Comment' is only spotted 'On the Page' on the day, that I see it. (seen ONLY when replying to someone HAS 'Commented' on the image, and I see a notification)
Taken in our garden at Bexhill-on-Sea, East Sussex this Spring.
Crocus (plural: crocuses or croci) is a genus of flowering plants in the iris family comprising 90 species of perennials growing from corms. Many are cultivated for their flowers appearing in autumn, winter, or spring. Crocuses are native to woodland, scrub, and meadows from sea level to alpine tundra in central and southern Europe, North Africa and the Middle East, on the islands of the Aegean, and across Central Asia to western China.
The name of the genus is derived from the Greek κρόκος (krokos). This, in turn, is probably a loan word from a Semitic language, related to Hebrew כרכום karkōm, Aramaic ܟܟܘܪܟܟܡܡܐ kurkama, and Arabic كركم kurkum, which mean "saffron" ( Crocus sativus), "saffron yellow" or turmeric (see Curcuma). The English name is a learned 16th-century adoption from the Latin, but Old English already had croh "saffron". The Classical Sanskrit कुङ्कुमं kunkumam "saffron" (Sushruta Samhita) is presumably also from the Semitic word.
Cultivation and harvesting of Crocus sativus for saffron was first documented in the Mediterranean, notably on the island of Crete. Frescos showing them are found at the Knossos site on Crete, as well as from the comparably aged Akrotiri site on Santorini.
The first crocus seen in the Netherlands, where crocus species are not native, were from corms brought back in the 1560s from Constantinople by the Holy Roman Emperor's ambassador to the Sublime Porte, Ogier Ghiselin de Busbecq. A few corms were forwarded to Carolus Clusius at the botanical garden in Leiden. By 1620, the approximate date of Ambrosius Bosschaert's painting (illustration, below), new garden varieties had been developed, such as the cream-colored crocus feathered with bronze at the base of the bouquet, similar to varieties still on the market. Bosschaert, working from a preparatory drawing to paint his composed piece spanning the whole of spring, exaggerated the crocus so that it passes for a tulip, but its narrow, grass-like leaves give it away.

Black-browed Albatross are monogamous and often mate for life. So no surprise that both, "Bikering and Beakering" can mark their relationship from time to time. They generally live 30 years but apparently can live up to 70 years... Juveniles return to the colony after 2 to 3 years but only start breeding around the 10th year, until then, they will only practice courtship rituals. The rituals could be quite elaborated and involve mutual feeding, beak touching and preening between mates. They use their fanned tail in courting displays... so, this seems to be a "non-bickering" session here...
This marmot was not sure when I returned to this spot below Lake Marie in Wyoming. I originally saw several of them there in this rock pile while taking sunrise landscapes. Hiked back a little later with the long lens and saw this one that was still not sure whether I was friend or foe. Liked this initial capture of the marmot there on the rocks among the pretty flowers. Around elevation 10,500 feet.
Will follow with one of the last images taken of this cute critter after it scrambled off and watched me for a while from a high distant point ... but eventually after staying still it returned to its feeding grounds and ended up getting quite close to me.
It was also great returning to this park in late July ... last summer in 2019 in late June, this whole area was still under several feet of snow.
