SCT operate approximately 2 return trips a week between their Penfield Depot and Port Germein to exchange Adelaide loading from their 7GP1/3PG1 services. The loading is dropped off on a purposely built siding at Port Germein with shunts occurring when the GP/PG services arrive, any Adelaide bound loading from these services returns to Penfield whilst loading from Adelaide is exchanged and placed onto the train.

Since last summer, RhB is operating a new peak hours shuttle service between Zernez / Susch and Scuol-Tarasp, offering a connection to the RE trains Landquart - St. Moritz in Order to serve the touristic and administrative center of Scuol half-hourly. As the rail infrastructure is not ready for that half-hourly service, the new service is operated by postbuses under "EV" tag ("Ersatzverkehr" or "Rail replacement service") although there is no information about if and when the new service can be operated by trains actually. The first morning service on workdays arrives Susch at 5:27, the bus is seen here waiting for the connecting train just arrived before heading back for Scuol. The vehicle will serve as ski shuttle bus in Scoul later on that day.

The FMID and sister companies Florida Northern and Florida Central operate a series of disconnected former CSXT lines that were purchased by the Pinsly, a New England based shortline holding company, in the mid and late 1980s. In 2019 Pinsly sold the three railroads to Regional Rail (owners of the East Penn and Middletown and New Jersey among other railroads) and recently the former Pinsly red has begun to give way to a new 'heritage' scheme that pays homage to Seaboard Coast Line, the legacy pre-CSXT operator of all their Florida properties. FCEN 655 and 713 are former Union Pacific GP15-1s (built as Missouri Pacific 1655 and 1713 in Aug. 1981 and Apr. 1982 respectively) and only just recently arrived on the property as detailed in this news story.

They are assigned to the six mile long Winter Haven Line which connects with CSXT's Auburndale Sub mainline just south of the Winter Haven Amtrak station and runs southwest as far as the industrial park located at the Bartow Executive Airport. The busy little branch traces its history back to 1884 when built by the South Florida Railroad (part of the Plant System which was purchase by the Atlantic Coast Line in 1902) as a branch from Lake Alfred (the location where I shot the empty OUC coal train earlier in the day) to Bartow. In days of old it was a thru route connecting with the Lakeland to Fort Meyers secondary mainline in Bartow and passenger trains would travel it diverging from the ACL main in Lake Alfred. I'm not sure when the last passenger train traveled these rails but it remained intact into the 1980s and an early CSX system map shows the line in 1981 though by 1987 it has been severed from Lake Alfred to Winter Haven and north from Bartow as far as the airport.

Here is another frame of the pair of black and yellow beauties putting together their train just south of the Spirit Lake Road crossing at MP 846.7 (as measured from Richmond, VA via the ACL mainline) before heading up to the big transload yard in Eagle Lake. The rails in the foreground are the rails leading toward the Bartow Executive Airport industrial park.

Operated by Mesa Airlines, a DHL 737 is on final for Runway 18L at Memphis International ASirport.

To operate the Emperior's lock (in commission late summer 1897), a building was required to house its engine. It contained a steam engine propelling two engines for the hydraulic system and for power generation. The hydraulic power was used for moving the lock gates and other parts such as pumps, winches and a crane on the western pier of Kaiserhafen I (in service 1899).

The generated electric power fed the lamps and lights. The building itself was decorated in the manner of Historism. The two towers with the distinctive framework decoration contained counter weights which exerted the necessary pressure for the pipe systems. The disadvantage of that system of British origin was in the unsually cold winters in Germany, which frequently led to icing up of the pipe systems.

Probably for that reason, both the lock and crane operation were converted into an all-electric system in the 1950s. And so the power station fell into disuse. The engines were dismantled; the building was classified as a historic monument. A society for maritime monuments moved in, using the building for events and exhibitions.

Wessex operate a number of Scanias which have moved down the coast from Hoeford. 65019 stretched its legs to Axminster last week and I bet that it was a good ride - similar double deck buses of this vintage, purchased for the route, have now all been sold on, but single deckers continue in service.

Mule Trading Post located at 11160 Dillon Outer Rd. (Route 66) in Rolla,MO. The roadside stop which opened for business in 1957 closed in the Summer of 2021.

Note the building was given a barn shaped facade (likely in the 1980s) however the MULE TRADING POST sign remained intact until the business closed.

On a final note there was a Texaco Gas Station operating alongside the Mule Trading Post. The gas station has been converted into a tobacco shop which is still operating as of August 2022 under the name Mule Barn Smokers Outlet.

The first Thameslink franchise operated by Go-Via Group had 40 of the original 60 class 319/0 sets. These units were rebuilt at Wolverton Works between 1997-98 where first class accommodation was incorporated. The units were dedicated as "Cityflier' sets for use on the Bedford to Brighton route serving Luton and Gatwick Airports and the City on London hence the choice of name. Ironically the later built class 319/1 sets operated by Thameslink which were built with first class accommodation were overhauled at Wessex Traincare, Eastleigh Works and lost their first class becoming 'City-Metro' sets dedicated to the Luton-Sutton-Luton suburban service. The paper dart logo on the unit end (set 319 443 on the right) denoted the end the first class accommodation was located.

The different paint scheme on the pair seen here in Selhurst cleaning shed belies the fact unit 319 449 on the left had been involved in the Spa Road Junction collision on 08/01/99. It spent over a year out of service stored at Selhurst Depot where it was eventually rebuilt and returned to service in late May 2000. The observant will notice the Bletchley destination which was an aspiration of the the Network SouthEast empire of British Rail and never came to fruition as the line still isn't electrified. Another destination on the 319 blinds which was never reached was Corby.

For the record 319 449 is stabled in Selhurst Cleaning Shed waiting for the evening peak while on the right stands set 319 443 waiting to form 5O91 the 14.10 ECS to London Blackfriars.

DOTS (Drone Operating Tank System) is essentially a supercomputer with treads and guns. DOTS is a Mid-long range tank as it does not have the armor necessary to take on battles on the front-line, for defensive capability's it has several flares and smoke dispensers, but for its main ability it uses a form of invisibility which it uses to escape unnecessary and dangerous battles. This technology can only last for so long which means the tank has to sacrifice potential firepower, armor and offensive ability's for a powerful engine as to power its invisibility, fast movement and the supercomputer that controls its drones. DOTS acts as a hivemind which controls its nearby drones allowing for the drones to communicate to one another effectively and efficiently. Without a DOTS the drones wouldn't be able to operate as desired and wouldn't be able communicate to each other. The drones DOTS operates also help protect itself, mainly the DDS (Defensive Deployment System) The DDS is a four wheeled drone which carries smokes, flares and APS soft kill launchers which help aid other allies and DOTS. The other two drones DOTS operates are the RSA (Rotary Small Arms) and the RMD (Rotary Missile Drone)

For its own firepower the DOTS has one main canon and a 50CAL anti personal turret.
