Thank you for your visit

Have a pleasant weekend

There was a time when meadow, grove, and stream,

The earth, and every common sight

To me did seem

Apparelled in celestial light,

The glory and the freshness of a dream.

”Subaru 1000” that I drove for the first time.

This Subaru was front-wheel drive with a boxer engine and was equipped with inboard brakes and torsion bar springs. And It is the ancestor of the present Subaru. And I remember putting the Pentax SV on the ground and shooting it with the self-timer. I still love this Subaru.

My pear tree is blooming again!!! I didn't notice until yesterday.

The forest behind is the "Aokigahara Forest (Aokigahara-jyukai)" spread to the Northwest foot of Mt. Fuji at an altitude of about 1,000m. This forest was formed on the lava that flowed out from the large eruption of Mt. Fuji about 1,300 years ago. This photo was taken after our second skiing on Mt. Fuji by my friend.

Once again, the Teasel patch in the field near my home proved to be a magnet for the local Goldfinches. Picking a sight-line through those prickly stems can be tricky, but I just about got away with it here.

Kurobe Gorge, Northern Alps, Toyama Prefecture, Japan, Our great adventure with my best friend, September 1975.

Kurobe Gorge is one of the three major valleys in Japan. We went up from Keyakidaira (Zelkova flat) to Kuro-yon-dam (Kurobe No. 4 Dam) in a 30 km valley called the Shimonorouka (Lower corridor) in 3days and 2night.

Thank you so much for "on Explore".

I don't know what made me chose these particular words the evening before the world woke up to the hideous assault being perpetrated on the Ukraine.

But words can be potent - guns and missiles only bring blood and death - words are what we, who don't bear arms, have as our weapons.

Words of unity, of love, of support. Words matter.

I hope, with all my heart - that the people of Ukraine will triumph in their fight. My tears are theirs.

The Laugavegur is a famous trekking route in South-West Iceland from the hot springs area of Landmannalaugar to the glacial valley of Þórsmörk . It is noted for the wide variety of landscapes on its 55 km (34 mi) path. The route is typically completed over 2–4 days with potential stops at the mountain huts at Hrafntinnusker, Álftavatn, Hvanngil and Emstrur. An ultramarathon is held on the route each July. It is possible to combine the trek with the Fimmvörðuháls route which goes over the pass from Þórsmörk to Skógar for an additional one or two days or an additional 25 km (16 mi). Landmannalaugar, Þórsmörk, and Skógar are all reachable by bus during the summer. A bus from Hella connects with Álftavatn once a day during the summer.

Once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward, for there you have been, and there you will always long to return.

Once upon a time, the pine tree, that spring is already approaching.

The mole croaked grimly: - He will surely come by car.

The hedgehog turned stern: - Rather on a scooter.

The snake hissed: - I don't believe it, he'll come on a bicycle.

The blackbird whistled: - I know something about it, he will come by plane.

- From where again," said the magpie, "I do not take my eyes off her

and last year in May I saw her on the streetcar.

- Not true spring usually arrives by motorcycle!

- And I will prove to you here that it is by car.

- Not true, because in a carriage!

- In a carriage? - What are you saying?

I can briefly declare that he goes by his own boat!

And spring has come on foot.

Already the flowers are enjoying her , already the grasses are growing before her

And they are humming - welcome spring!

Hey y'all, I have a ton of pictures from Tallahassee and environs. Like, almost my entire stream, which you're welcome to check out. These two were taken down at St. Marks and are among my favorites.

Once a part of the floodplain for the Grand River, this area was drained many years ago and is now a large agricultural area stretching for miles and surrounded by high hills.

Red-tailed Hawk

Nothing like this, very close by, to get your blood pumping. I was just standing there checking out some little birds, when this big boy dives right in front of me and grabs some breakfast. He leaped up to this branch and just shredded it. Ummmm Yummy

Once more the same origami daffodil-trio, but in a blue version and different angle. It was the first photo I made actually, but I wasn't happy about it because the stems/leaves were too short (although I used the recommend size), so I folded longer stems/leaves and made a different photo, as you can see in the first comment box.

But I still like this photo, so I decided to show it to you.

Interesting to know your opinion.

Name: origami Daffodil

Design: Toshie Takahama

Diagrams in the book: Creative Life With Creative Origami 3

Each daffodil is folded from two pieces of thin Japanese paper:

- flower: a hexagon 14,5cm

- stem + leaves: one rectangle 30x10cm: first you have to cut a rhombus and then fold it

Final height of complete flower: about 19cm height of which 10cm for the flower (point to point)

When can my heart beat again

When does the pain ever end

When do the tears stop from running over

When doe you'll get over it begin

I hear what you're saying

But I swear that it's not making sense

So when can I see you

When can I see you again

When can my heart beat again

When can I see you again

When can I breathe once again

And when can I see you

When does my someday begin

When I'll find someone again

And what if I still am not truly over

What am I supposed to do then babe

Do you see what I'm saying

Even if if it's not making sense

So when can I see you
