Another great selection of figs from OnlineSailin. Haven't decided if I want to splurge on the Nobu fig yet. Added black Mutt Williams hair and a CapeMadness coat to Punisher.

Sct. Ols Church, built in 1379 - one of the four round churches on the island of Bornholm.

Skt. Ols

Like Bornholm's other medieval churches, Sankt Ols was built in the 12th century. It was named after the revered King Olaf II of Norway who fell at the Battle of Stiklestad in 1030. In 1378, it was documented as "Ecclesia sancti Olaui" (Church of St Olaf). The church first belonged to the Archbishopric of Lund, then came under the Danish crown at the time of the Reformation. In the 19th century, it became fully independent.

It is the highest of Bornholm's four round churches, rising 13 metres from its base to the top of the conical roof, the church is built of local granite fieldstone with limestone door frames. Standing on a hilltop at a height of 112 metres above sealevel, it was built as a stronghold to defend the surrounding area. The openings in the wall on the upper storey were designed for shooting or throwing stones at the enemy. There was also a platform with a parapet which was used for defensive purposes. The church was also equipped with a hanging gallery, supported on beams projecting from the walls of the round tower.

The Olsen Nauen Bell Foundry (Norwegian: Olsen Nauen Klokkestøperi) is a Norwegian bell foundry located in the municipality of Tønsberg. The foundry was established in 1844 by Ole Olsen, and it is headed today by the sixth generation of the Olsen Nauen family. The company is based at the Nauen farm in Sem and is Norway's only bell foundry.

The Olsen Nauen Bell Foundry produces glockenspiels, church bells, ship's bells, farm bells, and other products from bell metal, which is a specific alloy of copper and tin. The company has supplied bells to most Norwegian churches. Part of its production is exported, some to mission churches and also to other clients. Examples of carillons cast by Olsen Nauen include the ones in Oslo City Hall, Oslo Cathedral, Sem Town Hall in Tønsberg, and Trinity Church in Arendal. The company has also produced a 52-bell travelling carillon, which is the world's largest.

The Nauen farm also has a small museum with a display of old and new bells.

"And just like that.... he's gone." Wish I could have grabbed a bunch more, but I'm grateful for the sweet OLS figs I did collect.
