Okay this is last winter and I am dying to get back to North Carolina. This was right before it started to snow.

Okay, stating the blindingly obvious...

Hey guys! Its been a little while since I uploaded something so here! PERFECT timing too! its 12:44AM!

I didn't feel like uploading in the last 2 weeks but since I won't be able to come home next weekend due to our school's basic safety training so I decided to give it a shot.

Its kinda sad when you find out or feel that somebody doesn't want to be friends with you anymore, and what's weird part is I don't really mind at all. Oh well, there's billions of people around anyway..

Everybody's been uploading pretty awesome photos lately and I promise to check them out later!!! I gotta sleep now..Good night!

Okay so it's a seagull, I don't normally do wildlife moving :)

I have balance issues and tend to fall over when I look up, anyway I set this up by throwing some bread in the water and then sat on the grass (got my bum wet ) but at least I got it, I think I need to practice some more :))

Thank you for your comments, take care, stay safe and have a wonderful day !!

Okay, the smallest 'figure' (second from the left) is totally Photoshopped. But other than that, the rest of the photograph is actual SOOC flames inside my cottage fireplace. See additional flame photos adjacent to the link below:

It doesn't look as if anything has been there recently.

Okay, you can blame me. I’m the one that jinxed Halloween. As I said yesterday, we made it through the entire month of October without any rain -- until Halloween night at about 7PM. Just after dark. Me and my big mouth.

It was still raining this morning when I got up at O’Dark:30. And near the top of the mountain I ran into the fog (or clouds as it were). So there was no sunrise. But along with the fog, Fall showed up. Or at least some of the color of it. Maybe the temperature part will show up soon and we’ll cool down. (Yeah, I just can’t help myself.)

Okay the first pic posted after my Euro trip. This one is from a tunnel in Sicily.

This deer seems to be thinking "Okay, Mom. I'll follow all the rules!"

My friend Mark took this shot with my camera when he came by to visit last week. I rather liked it. Interesting to compare it with the one below from 40+ years ago.

So when we leave it'll be a quick midnight escape

We'll disconnect ourselves from all of yesterday

I'll dig for water and fashion our very own wishing well

Then we'll throw our coins down hoping to rid of us of this little hell

236/365 - Careful

And what's that saying again?

They're only words

And words can't kill me

Well, I can't even spell them

And cadence to what she says is well

Let's talk about spaceships,

Or anything

Except you and me

Okay?

Tell me a funny joke.

I love jokkkkkes.

And I'm running out of good ones to re-joke.

Even though it was kinda a while ago,

I wanna thank you all for 8,000 views.

And I wanna thank everyone who has ever commented, favorited, or reblogged a picture.

You all are my best friends.

And I could just make out with you.

Well, I made that awkward ;)

Okay, so it's a famous spot - but then the challenge is transformed into one of taking the best version of that shot. I've tried many times, and I'm only just getting to grips with it - but I have to say, I'm happy with this one.

It's okay,

I don't even cry.

All I think about is a memory,

and the dream when you kissed my arm.

As I look away, don't hear what I say.

That maybe when I die,

I'll get to be a car -

driving in the night,

lighting up the dark.

Something in your voice,

it sparks a little hope.

I'll wait up for that noise,

your voice become my home.

One way road -

don't care what I find.

A little thunder's good;

I thought maybe you would.

But it's okay, we all feel left out.

Sometimes growing up, it can get you down.

I give you something that no one's going to give you,

my sleepin' skin and my heart deep down in you.

I'll never tell you, but you're my little scar.

Goodbyes are hard, and they're hard, and they're hard.

Maybe when I die,

I'll get to be a car -

driving in the night,

lighting up the dark.

But something in your voice,

it sparks a little hope.

I'll wait up for that noise,

your voice become my home.

okay. after MUCH thought this afternoon, i've decided to do a 365.... but it's different. it's going to be a 365health. i started a group. i know, i know, another group. but i need this... for me. i need accountability. i'm hoping there are going to be others that want to join. i'm not going to send out any invitations. if you want to, great. i'd love some company on this journey. i'm hoping it will be a place to encourage one another and spur each other on.

so this documents day one... i need new jogging shoes... these are OLD shoes. so you can see how long it's been since i exercised.... i'm on my way to get some new ones now. a friend sent me this link for good running shoes

and i've been researching tips on beginning running. i've never been able to succeed at this before... the breathing always gets me. but i think this link looks great for me.

i am still going to take other photos - it's not going to turn into just a health blog! ha! ;-) i hope you'll bear with me thru this process. this is part of me.

I am always surprised by the way excavators perch and pile. However, most deep digs require a long reach unit at the finish.

Day 261/366

Okay, I'm not gonna do a 365 but I'm gonna take a picture every day for 100 days! This is my starting image... I cant promise I'll take new pictures every day, but I will upload and edit old ones too! I'll see what I can do...

Thoughts on the first image? And wish me luck!

Okay. Yeah, Monet. I need a more radiant sky for this tone map.

Voigtlander lens rendering and impressionist post processing, interesting. Not that I know what I'm talking about.

Even a "just okay" sunset at South Haven isn't too bad 😊
