People say I'm crazy
Doing what I'm doing
Well, they give me all kinds of warnings
To save me from ruin
When I say that I'm okay, well they look at me kinda strange
"Surely, you're not happy now, you no longer play the game"
I'm just sitting here watching the wheels go round and round
I really love to watch them roll
No longer riding on the merry-go-round
I just had to let it go
- John Lennon

Okay, so I may have slightly altered the roof colour a bit (my forginess please, John Loughboroug Pearson) but all else is as shot.
Not the most unique of shots, but my first ceiling!
Mein zweiter Tag im Spiel. Aber leider blicke ich hier noch nicht durch.
My second day in the game. But unfortunately I don't look through here yet.

The squirrel was feeding on the deck rail when suddenly it stopped and draped itself on the rail. I know they spread themselves out to cool off, but it did this in the full sun with shade only a few feet away. It wasn't moving so I went out and asked "Are you okay?" Apparently it was, because it jumped into the nearby tree.

Okay, so she just came in for a profile pic, and this was the photo I ended up with to put up here... I'm really not complaining....
So I decided to go crazy for Crazy Tuesday. This is a disposable plastic glove. I scanned it to see how it would look. I did embellish it for effect.
For some reason, this photo looks different on the Flickr mobile app. Included is a link to the picture on SmugMug. It seems to look better than the mobile app. www.lmcclendonphoto.com/Flickr-Themes/Crazy-Tuesday/n-8pK...

The weather forecast was for clear skies today, so we thought we would try to see if we could spot some of the Snowy Owls which migrate from the Arctic to this area for the winter. Alas, no owls were seen, but I was able to capture some interesting scenes regardless...
Livestock in our region is not brought into shelter for the winter - almost all would never see the inside of a building until their final journey. The snow rarely gets deep, we are in a semi-arid area after all, and so the cattle can manage to find the grass beneath. In the past, there have been storms where too much snow has fallen all at once, and cattle would have starved without ranchers getting hay to them. We did see some fields where ranchers were spreading hay for the cattle, but here they seem to be doing okay at the moment.
PS Yes, that IS irrigation equipment in the background - we saw several irrigation canals on our drive.

Head Applier - .::WoW Skins::. - VALEA Lelutka Evo Skin - Sienna - Exclusive for the Saturday Sale
Heh :) This was from that day it rained and I took a bunch of pictures... I posted the other as the main one, but every comment seemed to mention this :P So, back by popular demand, here it is. 365 laterrrr!
A Sunday morning dawn shoot at Potter Point during the long weekend. Spring has sprung with some seriously warm conditions for this time of year with 30C+ temperatures.
Shooting from the cliffs today as one of my cleats broke but the rock shelf was fairly tame anyway with low tide and swell.
Sunrise was okay with a few clouds (Saturday had clear skies) but this cloud bank lit up towards the south away from the sun.

PS: I mistakenly have the photographer in the background. Will be cloned out when I get home. Neville mentioned perspective below but with the wide angle lens it gives the opposite view ie the rocks are only about waist level high. I took the shot from down low and the other guy was some distance behind the rocks. Note that the other photographer was (in my opinion) shooting the wrong direction!
