Just about finished with a 2 week trip to the Canadian Rockies where we backpacked into Mount Assiniboine Provincial Park and Mount Robson Provincial Park and did some more hikes and wildlife viewing in Banff, Jasper, and Kootenay. All-in-all, over 100 miles were traveled and now I have 50 GB of photos to process. This was almost certainly the most memorable trip I've taken so far in my life.
Here's one from Og Lake, on our return journey from Magog Lake to Citadel Pass and Sunshine Meadows in Mount Assiniboine Provincial Park. Some travelers take a helicopter into Lake Magog, while others backpack in through one of the easier but less scenic routes (e.g., Mount Shark). If you ever visit, don't take either of those ways in if you can help it. The experience and scenary of the "hard" route from Sunshine Meadows should not be missed.
Loads and loads of photos to come...
