Sa isang malaking bahay..Panahon ng pandemic.
Nakatira ang mag-ina kasama ang isang madrasta na ubod ng yaman..Si Cinderella ay walang maayos na sapatos, di nag-aayos, mukhang busabos. Ginagawa syang julalay at katulog ng kanyang madrasta, laging pinag-mamalupitan at sinisigawan pati na ang kanyang anak. Gustuhin man nyang umalis at lumayas,pero walang ibang kamag-anak na matutuluyan..

Nagpa-Second opinion din sila at parehas ng diagnosis.

Nanlulumo at di mapakali si Ma(Drasta),nanlulumo dahil wala naman silang lahi na may cancer, iniisip nya ang mga magiging gastos at natitirang pera, dahil nauubos sa kakasugal. Dalawang properties na paupahan paano maibebenta, pandemic pa naman ngayon, di na nakakapag-bayad ang mga nagre-renta.

Il clima che cambia minaccia la salute del mondo
I cambiamenti del clima avranno un enorme impatto sulla salute umana, e per proteggere le popolazioni più indifese, quelle che ne risentiranno maggiormente, sono indispensabili azioni concrete, politiche e sanitarie.
A richiamare, sulle pagine del BMJ, l'attenzione sulle conseguenze che il riscaldamento globale dell'ambiente potrebbe avere per la popolazione in termini di mortalità e malattie, sono alcuni esperti, tra cui A.J.McMichael, docente all'Australian National University, A.Nyong dell'Università di Jos in Nigeria, e C.Corvalan dell'Organizzazione Mondiale della Sanità.
I pericoli per la salute umana sono di tipo assai più essenziale di quelli che il riscaldamento globale potrà avere per il sistema economico mondiale, e i cambiamenti del clima stanno già cominciando a intaccare il nostro sistema di supporto naturale della vita: sono i rischi legati a ondate di calore, inondazioni, incendi, disastri naturali, a modificazioni della diffusione e dell'epidemiologia di malattie infettive, agli effetti del peggioramento della produzione di cibo e dalla perdita di mezzi di sostentamento.
L'Oms stima che oggi nel mondo un quarto delle malattie sia dovuto alla contaminazione dell'aria, dell'acqua, del terreno e del cibo. "Ma il clima che cambia peggiorerà queste ed altre malattie", afferma McMichael. "Se è improbabile che porti malattie del tutto nuove, altererà l'incidenza di più e più condizioni morbose, la loro stagionalità, il tipo di individui colpiti. Così, per esempio, a causa dei mutamenti climatici entro il 2080 tra 20 e 70 milioni di persone in più si troveranno a vivere in regioni dove la malaria è endemica."
L'impatto sulla salute delle persone sarà molto più evidente nei paesi poveri e nei gruppi di popolazione più vulnerabile che non nei paesi ricchi. E il continente che risentirà maggiormente dei cambiamenti climatici sarà l'Africa, già provata da stress sociali e ambientali, e con una economia basata essenzialmente sull'agricoltura: calo di piogge in alcune regioni e aumento in altre, siccità, malattie del bestiame, collasso dei trasporti e dei mercati. Basterà un aumento di soli 1-2 gradi entro il 2050 per far sì che altri 12 milioni di persone si aggiungano agli attuali 200 milioni che soffrono la fame.
"La povertà non può essere eliminata mentre il degrado ambientale aggrava malnutrizione, malattie, mutilazioni, traumi. La produzione alimentare richiede fertilizzazione continua dei terreni, stabilità climatica, apporto di acqua, mantenimento di un ambiente ecologicamente capace di supportarla. Le malattie infettive non potranno essere tenute sotto controllo in circostanze di instabilità climatica, spostamento di rifugiati, impoverimento progressivo."
Il rapporto tra l'ambiente e la salute è tuttavia complesso: McMichael e colleghi citano l'esempio dell'India, dalla cui modernizzazione ci si aspetta un miglioramento della salute dei suoi abitanti. Ma l'industrializzazione del paese comporterà anche un rapido aumento dei consumi di combustibili fossili, e maggiori emissioni globali, che a loro volta porteranno a cambiamenti nel clima, avvertiti soprattutto dalle fasce più vulnerabili della sua popolazione.
I cambiamenti globali a cui stiamo assistendo hanno una portata senza precedenti, per cui i governi e i sistemi sanitari dovranno sviluppare strategie concrete e lungimiranti per contrastare l'aumento malattie, traumi, ferite, morti.
E medici e personale sanitario hanno l'opportunità e la responsabilità di contribuire a risolvere questa grave questione: non solo con l'assistenza di gruppi di popolazione in condizioni avverse, ma anche con l'educazione e l'informazione, la sorveglianza delle malattie, la messa a punto di programmi di prevenzione, la partecipazione allo sviluppo di sistemi di allerta per calamità naturali, alla progettazione di sistemi di raccolta idrica, di abitazioni e città meglio capaci di contrastare riscaldamento e mutamenti del clima.

♪♬♩•*¨*•.¸¸Just done watching "The Oscars”. Neil Patrick Harris to Return as Host Harris' performance was predominantly described as "entertaining" and "funny." Only a few viewers found themselves "bored" or thought his hosting gig was just "OK." There are few things I love more than awards show fashion. The second the new year rolls around, I am filled with anticipation for the jaw dropping looks, the horribly placed layers and the inevitably unflattering gowns. To be fair, bad dresses happen to everyone. No best dressed list would be complete without Lupita Nyong’o. Her all pearl Calvin Klein made jaws drop with its intricate detail. Nyong’o had tried every color, and this Klein number proved to the world that wearing white could not stop her reign on the list of the best dressed. The pearls demanded attention without being obnoxious. Lupita was her typical self ➺ classy, striking and flawless. among the musical performers, Levine, McGraw and Ora put in elegant if unsurprising appearances, while for sheer, controlled ➳ chaos exuberance, it was hard to top 'Everything Is Awesome' from animated feature shutout The Lego Movie. ... At the other end of the spectrum, Common and Legend reduced many in the audience to tears with a stirring rendition of Oscar ➺ winning song 'Glory' from Selma." The number was sometimes amusing and melodic, but we're used to that. The surprise was that it was also an earnest, even sweet, salute to the magic of the movies. ... Most opening numbers have encouraged us to laugh at the movies ➳ this one tried to remind us that most of us love them." Yet "for all Harris' skill and charm, the show too often pushed him past his abilities. He's not a comedian capable of making something out of nothing, which is what the script too often gave him, or of getting audience members to save a joke for him in the way that.¸¸.•*¨*•♩♬♪
