After searching high and low for this bookshelf, I decided to make one myself after not having any luck
We finished the nursery! :) We replaced the futon cover and pillows, hung the framed posters, and mounted the Peter Rabbit wallies onto plaques that we painted to match the dresser :)
My parents watched Kenzie while I had to go and do fetal monitoring at the hospital today. My mom brought this tree decal that she bought, and we decided it was perfect for the nursery. After I was done with monitoring we went for lunch, then headed over to Land of Nod. I wanted to get a new crib skirt and ended up buying the fitted crib sheet that matched too. My dad raised the crib mattress, and now the room is just about complete. Kenzie got a new Eeyore toy, and Baby got Winnie the Pooh.
I really liked how the lighting in the room looked, so decided to snap a couple of photos. I still need to get a new table lamp for the room. I'm using one that was Kenzie's, but the colors are not exactly what I want to use in this room. I just haven't really found a light that I love yet.
The big owl print started out in Kenzie's room, but it just went so well with the two small prints and it's so lightweight that it's perfect for above the crib. So as much as I didn't want to expand the owl theme into this room, it happened anyway.

From the middle of July to the end of November groups of Leucospermum cordifolium shrubs provide vivid splashed of orange and red in the Fynbos section of Kirstenbosch. Many visitors from all over the world may recognise the flowers from flower arrangements they have seen in their own country. Nurseries in Israel, California, Hawaii, Zimbabwe, Australia and New Zealand produce large amount of cut flowers of hybrids and cultivars of this South African plant. In South Africa it is a popular garden plant as well as a much-used cut flower.
Leucospermum cordifolium belongs to the protea family and is indigenous to South Africa. It grows in acid, nutrient poor soils in a fairly small area in the South Western Cape, from the Kogelberg to the Soetanysberg near Bredasdorp. It is part of the Cape Floral Kingdom and occurs only in the winter rainfall area with its wet winters from May to September and hot, dry summers from December to the end of February. Other genera of the protea family, which produce striking and ornamental flowers, are Leucadendron and Protea.
Making more progress! Everything is off the table (the stuffed animals and pacifiers are staying), so all that is left is to paint that and the dresser. The other stuff will be moved downstairs (the swing and the boxes to the left), and then we need to hang stuff on the walls. The plan is to do that either this weekend, or the weekend of the 22nd... still have time!

Cleared out all the extra stuff (table and rocking chair)... now all we have left to do is hang the wall decorations and set up the stroller and jumperoo and we're done!

Took stuff down off the walls, so now we just need to hang the stuff we have. The stuff in front of the futon will be moved to the living room... almost there!

Inspired by all the lovely pictures of nurseries we had seen on Ohdeehdoh, we decided to go with a woodland theme for our own little nursery! We found almost everything we needed (accessory wise) on ETSY. We had originally planned to paint trees and animals on the wall, but found vinyl decals to be much easier on a 7 month pregnant back! On a business trip we found out that Land of Nod had an outlet store in Naperville, IL. We were able to get the quilt, hampers, and a few pictures at almost half the store price!
