Sophie is wearing her dad's baseball jersey from when he was a little boy.

It was interesting to see train life outside of the NE corridor. These are not your typical business men traveling between New York & Philadelphia. This was the 'heart' of America and presented a very interesting make up. The Star Line runs from New York to Miami..Who wants to be on a train for 31 hours?

Definitely made me want to think about trying this again.

This week: counting, measuring, labeling – numbers are all over. Actively noticing numbers can be an interesting exercise. I find them in obvious places and context, but they will also reveal where I would not expect them.

I don't even want to upload this one but it has bugged me till I have done it. Photos can be like that.

Wanted to take advantage of the clear Norfolk skies on a trip, but this was the best that it got. Oh, forgot my tripod and used the roof of the car instead.

Built lots of sandcastles mind.

In the Guardian Weekend at no 4.

Gpa says: The pic on the wall behind me is shot by Gittings---considerably more acceptable. Keith says: Sorry Gpa, I can't delete this one, at least not yet. It's one of a series and I want to look at them all together. And it's a nice shot of you. You're relaxed.

Sunset on the longest day over BP at Saltend... but what is that arrow... and those characters?

This week's photo came together rather painlessly. I spent a lot of time at work thinking about what I'd do for the photo and realised that my weekly Wednesday night pool game was the perfect chance to get some photos featuring numbers. The lighting was a challenge and I probably should have brought a reflector to even out the shadows on the pool balls a bit, but I'm really bad at thinking about those things in advance.

Properties of Irrational Numbers Today, we are going to discuss another important topic of mathematics, which are known as the properties of irrational numbers. Before we start explanation of the properties of irrational numbers, first define the term Irrational Numbers. As we know, irrational numbers are part of real numbers. So, it can be defined as a real number which can't be express in the p/q form. Since this p/q form is known as rational numbers, so we can say that a real number that is not a rational number is known as an irrational number. Mathematically there are some examples of irrational numbers like √2, √5, pi,(√1.5).

I started doodling and came up with a look that I liked and thought what the hell, why not do the whole damn thing, didn't really get it nailed down until the typography as far as size, style, conventions, but it was a far bigger undertaking than I originally thought so I'm glad I finished.

It's inspired me to do more, but not any time soon, it was a lot of work and I want to start tattooing grapefruit and pigs ears again.

From the back of a Brinks truck--I was worried that the guards would hassle me for taking the pic, but they were busy looking out for other things.
