A thousand and fifty-one waves
Two hundred and thirty-one seagulls
A cliff of four hundred feet
Three miles of ploughed fields
One house
Four windows look on the waves
Four windows look on the ploughed fields
One skylight looks on the sky
In that skylight's sky is one seagull.

These 8 pictures of the picturesque "Delicate Arch", were taken on the last evening/night I was in the park. Higher numbers mean later shots. I missed what was perhaps the most amazing pictures.
Surprisingly, there was quite a crowd that evening assembled to watch the sunlight change on this rock as the sun declined in the west. I don't know why, but I really didn't expect a lot of people. I set up my camera and began shooting when a guy stepped directly under the arch and began mugging for the cameras of his friends - which pissed me off - I wanted a pristine picture of the rock. A lot of the photogs like myself were beginning to grouse about him when suddenly he did a back flip - that's right a BACK FLIP! Directly under the rock. AND THEN HE DID IT AGAIN!! I was not expecting it and focused on him leaving and never snapped a single shot of him doing this amazing feat. Understand, what is so amazing about that is that the gound beneath this rock slopes away - on one side to a cliff.
I haven't looked, but I know his friends were prepared and took photos of this feat - expect it must be posted on YouTube.
