This is a crochet by numbers I made of my granddaughter Annabel.

Type number of an old fire engine.

Don't ask me how this is supposed to help the postman. But obviously the seismometer lives at 24. I wonder - does it get much correspondence?

One student wrote all the numbers from one to ten in Chinese characters on a sideboard in our class. Other students followed that lead and we've been collecting the ways to say and write these numbers in as many different languages as students in my classes can write in.

There are more numbers.

I prefer the old fashioned Jugendstil version...

The weird thing is, I woke up this morning thinking about the challenge. I had a passing thought, the Route 66 sign would be a good one for this challenge. Considering I live no where near route 66, not even the same country, I let that thought go. I took a different photo for the challenge. Then we stopped for lunch, and lo and behold in the parking lot, someone had posted this sign. Even though I like the other photo better, due to the bizarre coincidence, I thought I should take the photo and use this one instead. Weird.

This is the 2nd N°11 I've found. I'm not sure which I prefer, but I'll let Wendy decide which one she likes best.

Irrational Numbers A square root of every non perfect square is an irrational number and similarly, a cube root of non-perfect cube is also an example of the irrational number. When we multiply any two irrational numbers and the result is rational number, then each of these irrational numbers is called rationalizing factor of the other one.
