The Petrisberg vantage point is high above Trier city centre. From here you have a great view of the Moselle valley towards Luxembourg.
A record shot. never seen Black swan cygnets before at any time of year let alone November. Unfortunately there were seven, now down to two, could be large gulls, foxes or herons, They were in the middle of the lake all day so I couldn`t get as good a shot as I would have liked.

November is usually such a disagreeable month...as if the year had suddenly found out that she was growing old and could do nothing but weep and fret over it. This year is growing old gracefully...just like a stately old lady who knows she can be charming even with gray hair and wrinkles. We've had lovely days and delicious twilights.

I shot this photograph in November, but I haven't published it until today. Leigh-on-Sea, Essex, England. It's the area where the North sea meets the wide Thames estuary. A haven for sailors, wildlife and visitors to the old town.
I used the "Olson" effect in post-processing, not to everyone's taste but I like it on certain shots. I always say when I use this process 👍
