No Park—no Ring—no afternoon gentility—
No company—no nobility—
No warmth, no cheerfulness, no healthful ease
No comfortable feel in any member—
No shade, no shine, no butterflies, no bees,
No fruits, no flow'rs, no leaves, no birds,
November!

I think of November as being a dark, damp, cold time of year, but I do have a couple of nice things coming up this month. JJ and I are going to London to see our favourite singer, Sigrid (again) and we have booked a trainer called Juanita to come and give us some advice on how to train Harbie. (Oh, and today, Tim's dad would have been 102!)
I love Autumn in Venezia
especially on November..
No tourism, no Disneyworld effect..
.....time in slow motion ......
The weather is as melancholy as Venezia is.
"Xè caigo": no exactly fog, no exactly rain...only damp.
"Xè caigo", and nothing else.

A truly sunny weekend.
(Almost everywhere in The Netherlands temperature records for november 1th and the same for november 2nd and if it was somewhere not a record then at least the second highest ever measured warmth).
Although nightfall comes quickly this time of year it was an especially pleasant evening at Windsor lake.
So gefällt mir der November, wenn die Blätter golden in der Sonne leuchten. Und endlich konnte ich meine Lieblingsallee besuchen, wie jedes Jahr um diese Zeit.
This picture is from an lake close to Haugesund, Norway. It is taken to day, 22. November 2014. The light is not so good any more, even the picture is taken in the middle of the day.

What was that noise? Seems something managed to drag Tigelaar's attention away from the window for a very short period of time this afternoon. Didn't take long for him to return to squirrel watching.
Hope everyone is doing well and staying safe.

Happy Fence Friday everyone
Took Mabel on a lovely unusually warm November walk today and caught some great images on our walk, the light was beautiful and the colours wonderful. I was using my new 50mm 1.2 lens which can capture the most stunning bokeh wide open at f/1.2. At that aperture and being a manual lens you need a steady hand so even with little Mabel tugging on her lead I think I caught some pretty good images and dreamy bokeh. Have a great weekend.
