Nottingham has the UK's largest network of caves - over 800 are hidden beneath its streets. Cut into the sandstone they have been used for many purposes for centuries.

I went along to Goose Fair on two evenings while it was on this year. On the first evening I took with me my Fujifilm XT2 camera with a 35mm f/2 lens, and the second evening my XT3 camera with the kit lens (see adjacent detail).

One from back in April, whilst at Woodlesford station in one of the dull moments I set myself a challenge of a head on pan shot, the task was to find the slowest shutter speed I could get a successful shot. This is 1/20 second and was just lucky I had focus on the driver.
Its one I've been toying with either upload or delete.

Rock Cottage
Brewhouse Yard Museum
A view taken from the wall of Nottingham Castle.
The museum depicts the social history of Nottingham over the last 300 years.
Housed in five 17th century cottages adjacent to the famous 'Trip to Jerusalem' public house.
Brewhouse Yard once contained a thriving community of 20 houses with, at its peak, a population of some 127 people.
Today the surviving buildings house the museum and contain a mixture of reconstructed room and shop settings, and gallery displays.
Here you can experience being in a Victorian home, see inside a child’s bedroom, root through the cupboards in the kitchen and pump water.
I took this photo on a very cold and misty morning, as you can see. The road surface had icy patches on it.

It's a Grade II* listed Neo-Baroque building by Thomas Cecil Howitt, built in 1927. Nottingham Council House is the city hall of Nottingham, England. The iconic 200 feet high dome that rises above the city is the centerpiece of the skyline and presides over the Old Market Square. The historical building provides beautiful architecture with modern features, so all events can be accommodated for. It's the home of civic business in the city and it's here that councillors meet to debate and make their decisions. It’s also one of the most beautiful buildings in the city with many features worth seeing.

A mix of historic buildings such as Midland Station & the British Waterways goods warehouse and more modern architecture. As English cities go the mix between old and new buildings is not at all bad compared with say Preston where heart of the city is little more than a jumble of ill-matching constructs. The shot was taken from the grounds of Nottingham castle. Nottingham, UK.
Some shots of my home town with my wide angle Lomo cam the Blue Ribbon. IT was shot using 100 ISO colour slide film and is all SOOC. :)
