#Facebook’s renews #notification tab
Over the years #Facebook has altered all the characteristic of its Facebook app expect its Notification tab. It has been a spot that has remained untouched.
Until now..!!!
The company is deliberate to embark a fresh appearance for the notification tab in #iOS and #android apps in the upcoming weeks
The revamp will include a suite of assistant-like #reminders about your day, friends and other #topics based on your fondness and preceding activity.
The modernized notifications tab will shell “contextual reminders” in the form of cards. If you've been fond of a page of a certain team or athlete, for instance, you may see a card alerting you to a forthcoming game.
Users may monitor 15 different cards but most will notice between five and seven different cards at any given time. The objective of the cards is to afford personalized experience, and users will be able to tweak the types of cards they view — or disable them completely.
Beneath your traditional notifications Facebook will show cards for:
•Friends’ birthdays
•Friends’ life events
•Your upcoming events
•Today’s top sporting events
•Today’s top TV shows
•Trending Topics
And if you give permission Facebook will track your location history, you’ll also get:
•Popular events nearby
•Local weather
•News shared locally
•Nearby Places your friends may have visited or reviewed
•Movies playing in nearby theaters
You can modify these new sets of cards to add or hide what you want, and manage for which you need to be notified.

Ok..here's the readers digest version.
Today I received a letter(letter is from Ontario, Canada and check from a U.S. bank) with a check for $4875.00! The check looks very real and is drawn on a real bank (so says Rip off report).
BUT, the letter says that these people have been trying and trying to reach me...hmm no phone call and no other letters to note...and that this is my FINAL NOTICE!
It goes on to say that I have won $125k in US dollars and that it is my part of the total 4 mil that is being divided between 32 other suckers, er I mean participants.
Then it explains that the check is to cover the taxes on my winnings but wait..I have to send $2875 buckeroonies to the tax agent first, and I cant cash the check or tell anyone until I call them and send the tax money to this nice man named Mr. John Michael, because I might be prone to unscrupulous acts(their exact words) by non participants seeking to take advantage of me and my winnings. (Isnt that special!)
Dont worry good readers, I didnt fall for this scam. Im of the school that if 'it looks like shit and smells like shit then it most likely is'.
But wow...I wonder what would happen if I took this to their bank in Plumsteadville, PA and cashed it?
