🎶 We all live in a yellow submarine 🎶
The event was pretty busy as it was cancelled for the last two years due to the pandemic. We weren't doing very well with the clues and there were 48 scarecrows, so we just had a wander around the scarecrows and I took snaps of my favourites.
Several months ago, KCRW's Good Food did a segment on absinthe which made me start thinking about a spring garden party to sample it. She mentioned a particular brand, which I scrawled in a Grass Stain Green Field Notes Book, and today it paid off. Browsing the miniatures at the liquor store for treasures to sample, I immediately recognized this bottle as the brand I'd noted.

Here's what is probably the seediest bar in town. I've tried to get a picture of this place for years, but there's always people milling around this practically dead-end street.

Love Park is located on the cliffs of Chorrillos overlooking the Pacific Ocean. It's surrounded by walls of romantic quotes scripted in mosaic tiles and a monumental statue of two lovers embracing each other in the center of the park.
El Parque del Amor was an unexpected surprise to us since; it is a on the cliffs overlooking the Pacific ocean devoted entirely to romance.
I REALLY like how this one came out. It all started with me just taking random pictures of thing.

This girl not only loves to take pictures like me, but she loves to look through my Flickr site too. The funny thing is...she only likes to look at her own pictures. If she has to look at more than two pictures(that she is not in) in a row she gets bored...and she will complain..."I want to see MY pictures." Vain little girl. :)

Just a weird try of "less is more", check the details of the little birds in the full resolution view.....
Back in the day, I used to live in a 300-unit apartment complex in the ultra-luxurious intersection of 6th and Mission (Also home to: ho's, bitches, drugged-out fiends, a porn shop that was hit by a bus. Loads of class). This 300-unit apartment complex refused to accept shipments on behalf of tenants, so every day I'd come home to see at least 10 or so UPS InfoNotice forms on the front door. One day one of them was for me, and I noticed that it also had a nice little note written on it: Yuppy [sic] Scum". That was when I first new knew I'd made it! I keep it on my cubicle to remind myself that I'm a yuppy [sic] and that the downtrodden masses in lower-class neighborhoods hate my guts. You gotta keep it street.
Darned things get everywhere!
For those who may not have seen anything about the event or been, these two provided a great bit of fun for the queues on the last day of the great Weston extravaganza that was Dismaland....

Note taped to a glass door of an abandoned building in Saginaw, Michigan that reads "A little work will make a lifetime of memories". I'm not really sure what they mean by that.
