Typically, my room was 5 to 10 degrees warmer than my roommates'. But I calculated a method to reduce the extreme heating of the afternoon sun, which led to an investigation on how to look out the window without opening it.

The card game that we are playing is called "Rome". You get 13 cards, and it's a little like bridge. The aim of the game is try to play out all the cards out before anyone else or carry as little cards as possible. When one plays out all the cards, then, the rest will count their cards, as numbers. The coloured cards, include A are 10. A joker is 25.
Nb. The Galaxy Note 3 is already two generations old. I'm trying it out as a temp replacement measure for my Blackberry. I was wondering if I should take iPhone 6, 6 plus, or Samsung Galaxy S6 or s6 edge, or Note 4 or Note Edge. (and there is a rumour of Note 5 coming). Right now I'm tempted or Galaxy Note 4 or edge or whatever. My choosing criteria as a office work force, and email/Good Technology email as the key use.

Lovely violets amidst fall foliage, infront of my apartment, New Orleans, USA.
I came to New Orleans (and to the US) in August 2008. The weather was so horrible, that I started wondering if I selected a wrong place. It gets extremely annoying in summer here. The day time temperature does not cross 35 deg C, but the humidity levels are unbearable. Then comes the hurricane season. Not more than a month after I came here, the monster "Gustav" hit New Orleans and mandatory evacuation orders were issued. I fled to Orlando. I was dejected. I had not even got the feel of MBA, and there was already a threat of New Orleans being washed away by the scariest hurricane ever. Fortunately, Gustav weakened and just braced past New Orleans.
Then came October. The weather left me in awe. That is when I made those HDRs at Audubon Park. This being a coastal city, fall colors are not very evident here. But the weather was absolutely lovely. Bright sun, extremely pleasant temperatures. Audubon just looked heaven. Winter was mild, with temperatures ranging between 0 and 20 deg C. March is lovely again. It's spring time and if you are a little imaginative, the pic here describes the scene here!

Post Processing : Thanks all for the comments and faves. Just a note about the kind of post processing involved in this and the other two "violet" pics. I would say, there's minimal post processing involved in all the three. All of them are partial metered and hence the dark background. Also, the Sigma lens does not render excellent colors, so i had to tweak the settings a little to make the colors and pics look more vibrant. of course, I had to crop and straighten the other two pics a bit.
