I realised that I never ever carry around any paper to write stuff down. I always use my phone's notepad in an emergency. If I carry one of these cute small notepads, I also get to write things like email addresses or numbers and hand them over to people. I don't carry around business cards (I can't explain why >.<)
I have taken for granted how easy it was to get cutesy things at a cheap price in Malaysia when I lived here. There's always something to waste money on!

I couldn't resist these two magnetic notepads in Michael's craft store dollar bins ! They had matching notebooks and notecards, too. I love that 'pattern' print - and the hope that someone else will do all the chores !

The Original Ceramic Notepad has been sculpted initially from plaster, moulded and then made entirely out of clay. This smart jotter can be used to make those lists or leave little notes for your loved ones.
Supplied with a dry wipe pen (black) to write on the ceramic with, wipes or washes off easily.
The hole through the top not only mimics a spiral jotter but also keeps the pen and pad together for convenient use.
Also for use with chinagraph pencils or even permanent markers - they just wash off with water.
To clean and keep grease free – it ain’t rocket science – simply use a dry or damp cloth/tissue, or wash it up with your cups and plates even bung it in the dishwasher!
To display on the wall, simply hang on a nail (or 2 if you prefer!) Or just leave it on a desk or surface (protective bumper pads on base)

This is a completely handmade notepad. The paper are hand cut and stitched then trimmed to size. The notepad cover is made from calf leather trimmed with yellow lining leather and then sewn using red and yellow thread.
The fountain pen is a carbon fiber Jork Hysek.

Food (tinned, dried, packets); toilet paper, soap & first aid kit. Cellphone (in case there is a signal!) camera & spare batteries. Notepad & pen & sewing kit. Waterproof jacket & trousers in a bag and a large waterproof plastic bag to put it all in!
I might last out a day or two! :-}
I think this is the first time that I have come to close to not completing a Scavenger Hunt in a very long time! Phew!!

Sand, sea, and flip-flops. The "sand" is actually parchment paper :) The surf is plain bond paper. there's supposed to be two of those-- one at the top of the first wave, under the flip-flops. but i never plan out my designs before doing them so adding surfs didn't come to mind until after i glued the first wave... oh well. i'll remember next time :)
