Here is my notebook cover for my {secret} partner in Super Swaps. I can't show the front cover yet as it will give it away.

The colours are dark in this photo, sorry!

I found a notebook that matched - yay! I also put a button and loop closure on it. I love buttons and hope you do too!!

Partner - you said you liked red and aqua - so that's what you got! I hope you like it!

notebook work for ncad brief 2012

Notebooks illustrated by Greg Welker and printed and contructed by Anthony DeMarco for sale at earthlryelm.

Each book is 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" with 48 pages of grid paper staple bound.

This notebook measures approximately 17x12cm and has 98 paper sheets of blank paper. It is great to fit in your purse and it is very easily carried.

The cover was lined by hand with cloth, and inside it is made of cheap card. It has a wool crochet flower that you can pin or not, as you wish. To close it, it has a crochet thread that you turn around your notebook and which can also be used has bookmark when you are using it.

In the front cover (inside) is a hand made drawing.

It was made only by hand, without any recourse to a machine of any kind.

When Livia send me that wonderful black and white notebook I realized that notebooks are actually fun to use. And this one is rather posh. :) I'll use it to collect fallacies. And when I watched the news Mrs. Merkel was so nice as to provide me with the first one.

A quick look at the notebooks I've used to keep track of my hikes (sorry about the mixed lighting), the flip notebook at the bottom I started with in 2000 before switching to the composition notebook on the right in 2003. After filling it up in 2011, I started using the red Moleskine on the left which is what I'm using currently. I wish I had started doing this earlier! Early on I mostly just listed what animals I saw but I got better over the years about describing the hike as I enjoy looking back from time to time and reading through past adventures. I've long debated about switching to keeping my notes on the computer, both so they'd be easy to backup and easy to search, but so far I've resisted as this is the last area of my personal life where I still write by hand and there is a romance to the feel of pen and paper.

pink notebook holder by Fino, Glorietta

everything went wrong with this. It was supposed to just be a regular vhs notebook, but I cut the box too narrow, then I cut the paper too crooked. So it turned into a reporter notebook.
