I'm thinking about making some little notebooks, since I am always looking for one to make lists. This is my prototype.

Two Edelpappband notebooks with leather edges and Italian scrapbooking paper.

Traveler's Notebooks and inserts from Morgan Le Fae's Trinkets.

Just arrived NY taking bus from airport to midtown hotel.

Tight back and raised bands, meaning that the leather on the back is attached directly to the stitched spine of the textblock. The bands are the actual cords on which the signatures are sewn. The leather comes from a well-worn couch that used to be in my childhood home. Front and back covers are thin and somewhat flexible.

Esta es una notebook que me trajeron hoy para instalarle un antivirus. Bien cuidadita, no?

An example of a German Edelpappband as described by Peter Verheyen (ref below). Sewn on tapes, leather headbands (see detail img), case binding with leather top and bottom edge.

MSI 17" F series notebook FX720

Inside of the notebook with some notes paper and a must Ruler, love the way it turned out.

5th Anniversary Coin Charm.

I really like this charm, but now my notebook doesn't look Mine, it looks like all the other promotional photos of Midori notebooks. So I'm not sure how long it's going to stay on here, I need some unique personalisation.

received from renee for the kawaii koala altered notebook swap..

i love her style - it's so layered.. i've tried so hard to do the same on some of my projects but i'm too anal and just can't manage that 'evolved' look to my crafts ;/

with my years of experience with sketchbooks and notebooks when I'm talking - you'd do well to listen.

As appreciation for all your feedback and to fans of my FACEBOOK page, Im giving away one of these fabulous notebooks. Its packed with blank pages for your creative jottings, and filled with some of my favourite images to inspire you...mostly picked from my 'PHoto of the week' feature on my fb page.

This book is handmade and constructed vintage airmail onionskin pages. It has a lovely translucent quality. The book has more than 100 pages. The covers are decorated with hand-marbled paper from Columbia College Chicago which I purchased at the Printer's Row Book Fair. It has a brown and white stitched ribbon marker. I really love these books because not only are they handmade, they're handmade with limited, vintage materials.

The book measures 5.5" X 6.5" X .5"

I've named this book "Simone".

My first attempt at making a notebook and I must say that I loved doing it and how it turned out so I will definitely be doing this again.

Christmas is near and I've been thinking of how to show our customers what they can do with their stationery and how to enhance the moments. My perfect notebook is composed of a Moleskine soft cover 18 months diary, a blank Moleskine, Authentics' PenClip, an Italian 4 color ball point pen (though I wish it can be a roller ball pen) and a clasp from Japan. I displayed the combination 2 days ago in our gallery and put up a POP showing customer what's in the combination.

I also stamped "The Times" press logo using gold pigment ink on the cover of the soft-cover Moleskine which created a classic look on the perfect notebook. The stamp was actually a letterpress stamp I bought from London, originated from the Fleet Street where the press was situated years ago. Gee, I'm hooked on Stationery really :)

Day 305 - New Notebook

Today I went shopping with Oliver and Annika in Hamburg. Annika has a small netbook and wanted something bigger. Soon we made a find... and 2 minutes later there was not one more. Hihihi :)

As weird as it it sounds, I spotted this left next to a bin and found it so interesting I ended up taking it home with me. I did get a reward for my eccentricity however, when I opened the hard drive bay and found a completely intact and working 320gb hard disk! About a year later that hard disk proved very useful when it was used to repair my fiancée's laptop.
