This is my Hipster PDA To-Do List (TDL). Its make up of waste / recycle paper cut into quarters, and bind with clip.
There are 2 accessories that come with the Brain Pocket. It is a very nice thing to have the string (that acts like a bookmark) decorated. It save me time looking for items to look for items to add-on.
These two notebooks are bound using a chopstick on the spine. Both books are about 9" x 4.5" and have 50 pages.
The covers are made with cardstock. The darker pink book has pale pink Japanese metallic flecked paper for the first and last pages, and the remaining pages are pink. The lighter pink book has lightweight yellowish Japanese paper for the first and last pages, and the remaining pages are white.
Both books have a short beaded string embellishment attached at the top of the chopstick, and I used little flower images that I carved and printed onto the covers using gold ink.

I'm thinking about making some little notebooks, since I am always looking for one to make lists. This is my prototype.
Tight back and raised bands, meaning that the leather on the back is attached directly to the stitched spine of the textblock. The bands are the actual cords on which the signatures are sewn. The leather comes from a well-worn couch that used to be in my childhood home. Front and back covers are thin and somewhat flexible.
Handmade notebook.
Cover screenprinted on wood. Back and spine is one piece letterpress printed in 1 color.

This little book is similar in size to a Moleskine, but features a big blue jellyfish originally drawn by German naturalist Ernst Haeckel floating across the cover.
I love natural history illustrations and I have quite a collection of images that I use in my other nautical wedding invitation business, <a href="http://www.concertinapress.com"Concertina Press. I thought it was about time to showcase some of my favorite images on some handmade books!

My first altered item. I finished this altered composition notebook and just love it for important notes.
