***pausing from my retreat uploads... for some reason... today is like being on a roller coaster... one moment bursting, then suddenly energyless... then okay, then not quite... a test run, it is... must be still... i am.
No time to roll the die today. I needed to get to the point and send myself a clear message. Saw this pic of my awesome shooting target an recalled the day I had to be 100% in focus. It was my first day shooting. I need to be that focused more in my life. I need to stay on task and have the follow through each and every day.

After my two weeks in Bercianos taking care of pilgrims on their way to Santiago, I walked a few days myself - just from Bercianos to León, where I caught a train on to the next part of my adventure.
I walked slowly and sent my bag ahead of me, but still got blisters. I listened to the birds and sometimes to a podcast about grief. I stopped to write or paint whenever I felt like it. I chatted with people and made some friends but also savored solitude after two weeks of continuous communication.
Next time when I'm mad at you? Just #wrap your arms around me and don't let me go! I am mad, I know, but sometimes I just need a #HUG!
