My future wife, making notes on a train.
Was drasticly underexposed, a mistake which with the help of computers need only mean 'some shadow detail lost, more grain than normal'.
I've just started scanning in some of my old photographs, so expect more grainy, years-old photos to come...

Note the red earth which gives Marrakech one of it's names - The Red City. It is from here that the materials for the famous city walls and the buildings inside were taken. It is also the water source for the city.

Craigers has been inhaling watermelon, lately.
He likes to cut them in half and spoon the flesh from the rind-bowl. It is adorable.
When people started leaving (and forgetting) items in the pantry fridge, the notes popped up that a cleanup would take place every Friday. "Every" Friday turned into "whenever we remember" so it can get pretty bad.
The latest batch of signs, however, was actually met with a response.

Please do NOT add notes to this image - thanks! =)
This did not take as much time as you might expect. 10 minutes I would say.
Originally, I wanted to upload a square crop and have perfect symmetry. I felt that might be too boring and decided on progressing from two different directions towards a final climax.
Ok wait, if I lost you somewhere up there, please be happy =)

I found this on the sidewalk on a lunch-time walk last week. There are at least 100 things I love about it.
Someone had this in the back pocket of their jeans; as if they were expecting to finish these thing by noon. That's the best part. And I love that a couple of these things seem out of order.
So glad the U-Haul is rented though. The sky is the limit now.

Sunset over Middlesbrough Town centre. The 'Bottle O' Notes' is the only public sculpture by American artist artist Claes Oldenburg in the country
NOTES is a series I started in 1968. NOTE TO ERIK was the second one completed but the footage goes back to 1966. When I saw the footage I loved it, but didn't feel ready to deal with it. Seeing Sharon Moss again, who had moved to NYC from Storrs, CT inspired me to return to this footage to make a note to a mutual friend ERIK KIVIAT. It took about 2 years for me to feel I could respond to the generosity of her performance and the images I had gathered and shaped in my camera. Sharon Moss and her cats play and dance naked in the snow.
