I found these cool Word Cards (1.5" x 3.5") in a Japanese store and had them in my Pocket, but they got Bent, so using 2 old Credit Cards and a Hole punch I made a cover.

This was the drawing that went with the note Olivia wrote for Kevin to thank him for helping to paint her room.
From left to right, that's me, Dale, and Kevin.
Note the "spirit house" on the right...the yellow thing on a pedestal ... Whenever you build on the land...you "evict" the resident "spirit"...and you must provide the spirit with a house to live in...so he will leave you alone... A very high percentage of houses and businesses have spirit houses in Thailand and Cambodia....

One of my more whimsical pics. Ryuk from "Death Note", contemplating one of his favorite things.
The setup:
My Ryuk figure placed on a box in front of my monitor.
Monitor set to show an apple picture, with the brightness turned all the way down to accomodate the long exposure time.
Apple picture exposure set all the way down, again to help with the long exposure time.
Desk lamp placed on the floor, pointed up at the figure.
Room lights out.
Camera on tripod, 3.2 second exposure @ f/8, ISO 100.
Notes and Pics from our Adult Mission Trip Team in El Salvador from Sunday June 22.
Evening reflections led by Ron focused on Micah 6:8 with a discussion about "doing justice, loving kindness and walking humbly (ethically) with the Lord."
Earthquakes last night! 4.6 and 3.4 on the Richter Scale. We were awake for the 10:00 pm excitement.
We attended worship service at Church del Cristo Rey. Sacrements were administered by Pastor Carlos Najera, Pastor Patrick and Pastor Jake from Austin. We attended with our new Habitat friends who have joined us from Austin and California. And now we have new friends from Santa Ana El Salvador!
We also took a side trip to nearby Mayan ruins Tazumal. Here we are under a guanacaste tree.
And now we must rest up for Day 1. We have discovered we will be digging a foundation for a new house. Fun!
