Wolf Wolfensberger was born in Germany and immigrated to the United States in 1950. He received his Ph D. in psychology with a specialization in mental retardation at what is now known as Vanderbilt University. Wolfensberger has been a professor at the School for Education at Syracuse University since 1973. An advocate and the creator of programs for the deinstitutionalization of the developmentally disabled, he has been credited with the term "Citizen Advocacy." Programs include the theory of Social Role Valorization and Normalization among others. Social Role Valorization attempts to explain (and prevent) how some people who are "socially devalued" in some way (perhaps because of such conditions as being old, disabled, mentally ill or poor) are excluded from valued social roles that form the basis of our participation in ordinary community life. His theory on normalization is based on the principle that people will behave "normally" when they are placed into "normal" settings. He has also worked in child assessment, working with families in planning their disabled child's future including education.
June and July 2018 Afrho data for comet C/2017 S3 (PANSTARRS) from the Cometas-Obs
Yahoo Group when normalized to zero phase now two outbursts of activity on July 1, 2018 and July 15, 2018.
The second outburst is much stronger than the first outburst.
There has been an increasing trend in dust production before and after the July 1, 2018 outburst.
On July 16, 2018, the data show the second outburst may not have peaked.
The phase angle increased from 27 to 57 degrees during this time period.
Solar distance to the comet has decreased from 1.7 to 0.92 AU.
The comet is interior to Earth's orbit.
Thanks especially to the observers who have provded data.

All the shots are unique, you haven't seen them earlier and were not processed from published ones!
These shots were made with Pentax KF B&W Orange settings. Not IR as for shots with black sky to add a pinch of doom scenario or apocalyptic emotions. Time to find out what's good in traditional b&w shots. Both other series and this one were accompanied with CPF.
What I did was normalizing central gray scope here to make the shots look similar. I'm aiming to discover camera sets to make shots without need to post process them, if that would be possible, or with minimalist touches of my GIMP.
I did not touched black slider. Gray (+/-), white (-) and highlight (-) sliders only, plus conservative values for sharpness (only for compensation of camera soft settings): Radius: 1.000, Amount: 0.310 and Threshold: 0.110.
I ask you for comments what to check, what to correct and how,
and which compositions look better using such bright settings for shooting b&w with strong day light. Any suggestions are welcome and highly appreciated.
Thank you. :) Have a nice fun here. :)
Impariamo a normalizzare i corpi normali. Basta stereotipi, accettiamo ogni corpo, nella sua forma artistica. Ogni corpo è arte, ogni curva, ogni forma, ogni dettaglio, sono arte.

Don't normalize...
One of regularly recurring demonstrations to remind local motorists of the importance of immigration justice. We got generally good response with many waves and horn-tooting, but a few nasty responses.

1: generate tileable solid noise.
2: edge detect
3: normalize
This is similar to ebn512, but the kind of noise used changes it quite a bit. Solid noise is a gimp filter, I believe that it is some flavor of perlin noise.
This project consisted of reverse engineering an existing database built in Access and creating a new normalized client server application with an Access front-end.

A HDR shot of one of the peaks as seen from the rest area atop Vail Pass. I tweaked this image in Photomatix to enhance the colors just a bit, and to keep it as natural as possible.
The Large and Original shots are great, check them out!
