The image below is a reconstructed RGB image. Comparing the two images, we can see the benefit of incorporating IR data into the NDVI image - it's much easier to see the delineations between land and ocean, and even between separate land types. The different types of fields are very easy to differentiate in the NDVI image.

I found this map online while researching routes for our upcoming road trip. I like how it is normalized to an almost-grid like system, like a transit map.
It's easy to see the numbering patterns: With a few exceptions, east-west roads go in 10s and end in 0, from south to north. North-south roads go in 10s and end in 5, from west to east. Roads that lie in the middle of the major ones or go diagonally are numbered somewhere in the middle.
