Nine Years is a festival we hold every nine years at harvest time and is inspired by the ancient ceremonies of Upsalla, Sweden. The theme of the 2011 ceremony was the nine worlds of Germanic mythology. Behind the altar a tree was decorated with nine offerings from each of the participants.

Hundreds of people fill the Corunna, Mich., high school gymnasium on March 17, 2013 to send-off the Corunna-based 144th Military Police Company, Michigan Army National Guard as the unit prepares to deploy to Afghanistan. Approximately 150 members of the company depart March 18, first to a state-side location for training and then to Afghanistan. The 144th MPs are expected to be in Afghanistan for about nine months. Arrived in Leigh-on-Sea an hour early, so spent forty-five minutes wandering up and down the beach and around the local shops as they were opening. Very peaceful and lovely.

day eighty nine. my buddy Stephen took of advantage of the huge sale going on at incycle this weekend and got himself a caad12 decked out with 105 components, along with a bunch of sweet gear. if you are looking for a new bike or just looking to get some accessories stop by this weekend and save yourself a lot of money :) also come say hello, ill be there all weekend.
19th May 2012 Queen Elizabeth II celebrates her Diamond Jubilee - her 60th year since ascending to the throne and the British Armed Services commemorated the event in style with a gathering at Windsor Castle - all 2,500 of them.
With the weather less than ideal and having plotted the projected track, we made camp south of the Hogs Back, west of Guildford and waited. With some 19 miles still to run to the overhead at Windsor, sure enough with RAF precision, dead on time at 10:52am, the nine Typhoons in 'Diamond' formation, came out of the murk heading north to salute Her Majesty.
8 minutes later the event attended by HM the Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh, was opened by this nine-ship flypast..
Once the festivities had taken place and to close the event, at 12:25pm there followed a mass flypast by some 76 more aircraft drawn from the RAF, The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, the Royal Navy, the Army Air Corps and the Royal Marines comprised of Helicopters, Ground Attack aircraft, a VC-10 Tanker, a WWII Lancaster Bomber, Hercules Transports and Tucano and Hawk Trainers, the latter in two distinct formations (see later)all culminating in a final Diamond nine flown appropriately by The Red Arrows display team.
More than 120 DoDEA Europe students from nine different schools participated in the first in-person Model United Nations (MUN) event since the COVID-19 pandemic began. The "PRAMUN" event is an international conference for high school students in Prague, Czech Republic. After last year's virtual affair, it is the 14th straight MUN conference organized at the Gymnázium Jana Nerudy high school - the oldest such school in The Czech Republic (almost 200 years old) and one of the most prestigious - in association with experienced Firebird Tours.
Almost thirty eight weeks of carrying this babe to full term. Nine months of watching my body change and grow into something capable of forming our child.

The Cambridge City Council website says it very well:
Nine Wells is a historically important site containing several chalk springs, which form the source of the Hobson Conduit. Previously a SSSI (Site of Special Scientific Interest) Nine Wells once contained some rare freshwater invertebrates, however following the drought of 1976 these were lost.
Today the chalk watercourses are being managed with the aim of re-creating the conditions favourable for a possible re-introduction of these rare species.
The Locality of Nine Wells means that it is only accessible via public and permissive paths but it is well worth a visit.
