Rainbow Liveried South Western Railway Class 444 EMU No.444019 is seen on the SWML near Nine Elms on the 29th of September 2023, leading the 12:35 1W25 service from London Waterloo to Weymouth. The grey concrete structure running above the train is the Nine Elms flyover which joins the SWML to the Chatham mainline formally used by Eurostar Channel Tunnel services when the main Eurostar terminal was at Waterloo International.

Yes, it's our anniversary today. Nine years. This shot I had asked the photographer to take one where we were going to make faces, but there was a mix up as to when he was actually taking the shot.
So some of us just weren't ready.

The lens? My first thought looking at thumbnail was Soviet Industar-61 L/Z... Nah... It doesn't have that I-61 L/Z 'look'.
There's some weirdness in the texture of the Buddha and the noise. Kinda like it though....

Namunukula is the name of a mountain range in Sri Lanka's province of Uva. Its main peak is 6,600 feet (2,011.7 m) high. The name means "Nine Peaks". It also the name of a town near it which is sometimes called Namunukula Town (6° 52' N 81° 7' E)
When I read about the Ros9 as it was introduced by Niner last summer, I knew pretty much immediately it was what I wanted in a bike. I love the EMD9 I was riding, but I missed having something with a little more boing out on the Wissahickon. Boing is what this bike has, for sure.
