As impressive as the stained glass in St Mary's was, the real stand out feature was the roof.
It had been painstakingly designed and made by a lady in Victorian times. It was certainly an impressive sight, there was even a meter you could put a pound in to light it up.
You could say it is Suffolks answer to the Sistine Chapel.
I headed out for a couple of drinks the other evening. My venue was the Iconic bar in Lowestoft. As it was a pleasant evening I took my camera with me, thinking I might get a few shots on the way to the bar.
The most interesting shots of the evening were however to be had in the bar. There was a definite blue theme when I walked in.
A well overdue appearence from Mac!
Here he is taking a quick time out to think about what further mischief he can cause.
I managed to get back from work just as the sun had set. I called in a nearby park & got a few shots of the water as dusk arrived.
A low angled view down to the beach. The sand has some very striking patterns on it moulded by the sea.
Some impressive looking stained glass from St Mary's church.
St Mary's is a small church in Ellingham near Bungay. I was impressed by how much stained glass the church had. A view of the outside of the church can be seen here

Another shot from my silver experience on the beach. I made sure to get a shot just as a wave was breaking. The silver light caught the spray & made it glisten.
This powerboat was nicely decorated in Union Flag colours which is particularly apt at this point in the year....

Another pile of rope on the beach. This one had the sun shining directly on it when I took the photo. It has given it a warm looking tint.
This guy looked rather sorry for himself, but then who can blame him.
He had spent the day with his head in a basket pretending to be a small dog. Perhaps before doing this he was a banker??

Ghazanchetsots Cathedral, also known as the Cathedral of Christ the Holy Savior and the Shushi Cathedral.
A variety of colours greeted me when I made an early morning trip to the beach recently.
The colours were all in bands among the sea the sky and the clouds.
