The old ruined arch at Covehithe where the main stained window would have been. If you look closely there is something else in this shot too.
The previous shots didn't really show how many cows had actually lined up. This one was taken further away & shows just how many cows had decided to come & see what I was up to. I count nearly 40!
There was a brief respite from all the rain we have had a couple of days ago.
I made the most of the respite heading out along the seafront with the camera. There were plenty of other people about & lots of dogs too.
This dog was paying close attention to something along the seafront. He was trying to focus on someone in the distance, but I don't know if he was a bit short sighted from the way he was squinting.
An old WW2 defence I found while walking along the cliffs at Horsey. There are a lot of these structures around this part of the world due to our proximity to the sea.
A candid portrait of one of the train drivers taking a quick breather while the train was in the station.
When I am sat down watching football in the evening, it takes something special to get me out and about again.
A recent sunset managed to get me out in the garden with the camera though. The colours of the sky against silhouettes of the trees were very striking indeed.
After walking past the church I headed onto the beach.
The striking autumn light was still present on the beach, so I made sure to get a few photos. The wind had also whipped the clouds about, so that was an added reason for a photo.
I paid a visit to Beccles common recently and decided to take a mask or two with me. The woodland provided a good setting for a few photos especially with the sun filtering through.
Here one mask lays on the canopy with light filtering through the trees onto it.
A small town located in the Middle Atlas area of Morocco. It's a resort area where people visit to escape the, at times, extreme heat and also visit the various ski slopes.
This is the old Hotel Balima in obviously poor condition when I shot this slide around 1970.
When I got home from the North Parade, the weather was still looking rather dramatic.
This is Pakefield beach & the cloud was still very plentyful.
Waves gently lap against the shore at Pakefield beach. The tip of the waves looked very white against the dark sky.

A brightly decorated plane makes an appearence at day 2 of the airshow. It would have been rather difficult to have missed this one coming.
One of the many fine pubs in Southwold. I got a shot of the Sole Bay Inn just after it had opened for business.
A series of colourful bottles at the food & drink festival. I am not sure entirely what was in the bottles, but they made a good photo.
