Boyd is a guide dog who assists a local man.

When he goes on the beach he is allowed off the lead for a run around. The morning I came across him, he wasn't really ready to stop his break. Despite his owner calling him several times he paid little attention & kept playing with other dogs on the beach.

I decided that I would do my good deed for the day & I guided Boyd back to his owner. Once we got back his owner was less than impressed with him, but he just couldn't stay mad at him once Boyd made a fuss of him.

I missed out on the chance to take photos last weekend. This meant I headed out with the camera with even more enthusiasm than normal today.

I paid a visit to Southwold & the lighthouse there was looking particularly good on a fine morning. I got a series of photos & this was one of my favourites.

only this one survived out of 24 from my new lens test.

A close up of one of the boats from the previous shot as it sailed up the broads at Oulton.

With all there was to be seen out to sea, it would have been easy to forget the sun was setting in the opposite direction.

When I did turn round this was the scene that greeted me.

Mac recently got to pay a visit to the nearby village of Burgh Castle. This village has the remains of an old Roman fort in it.

As always Mac had plenty of fun. He busied himself looking round the old fort & the area nearby. He also kindly stopped for a minute to have his photo taken.

Tuesday I used the Nikon F2 [item from 1975] with the motordrive, battery pack. The thing [with lens] weighs FIVE lbs :)

Lens is the later AI-S 35-105 zoom [it pulls for wide, rather than pull to zoom]

Film used was ILFORD 100 DELTA
