I spent a while playing around with the previous shot trying a few different effects on it.
This one happened to be one of my favourites, I liked the greyish tone and shadow introduced by the effect here. I still can't make up my mind which one I prefer though.

Across the heath at Dunwich was this farm, which had a number of interesting buildings.
I thought some sepia treatement would go well with these buildings.
A very vibrant looking patch of ivy growing up a tree in Pakefield Park.

Highlights from a recent wedding I was asked to take photos for.
It was cold & a bit damp, but it was a pleasant service and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.

Another shot in the " animals that hang out by my patio" series. All of the animals seem to find the little nuts that grow on the palm trees completely irresistable, and since My balcony is right at palm tree level and sort of nestled between two of them, we get quite a show sometimes. I just got a bird feeder set up, so hopefully in the coming weeks and months I will get some of the bluejays and parrots that are native to the area, and later in the year I am told this area has a lot of hummingbird sightings, definitely looking forward to that.

Mac, Molly & Socks stand ready waiting for another round of ball play. I like the way Socks has managed to get in on this photo pushing his head in the bottom right corner.

My Nikon F Apollo with Photomic head and Nippon Kogaku 50mm F1.4 lens... on a rare outing from its display cabinet. Circa 1973, this Nikon F version was called "Apollo" due to a fairly tenuous link to the United States Apollo Space Program.
Nevertheless... to me it is a thing of beauty :>)

Its always important to make sure the door to the spare room is closed...
You might remember the mask i was designing making an appearence on my stream recently. Although it still isn't quite completed yet I thought I would give it a test run.
This person behind the mask here is me courtesy of a tripod and a timer on the camera. It took a few goes, but this shot I was particularly happy with - especially when I added a bit of shade and sepia to increase the atmosphere.
Watch this space for another appearence from the mask soon......
