Snickers had his turn at the "only child" time at the nature preserve. He is lethargic at home and is nuts for a walk. So very excited the whole time and think he marked every tree and bush. He doesn't sit still much like Oscar for photos. I missed focus a bit.
This was taken looking back down the path along side Nether beck towards Wast Water. The sun rays coming through the clouds over Illgill Head where absolutely amazing.
Falcon is a mill and museum on the Lammermarkt in Leiden .
The current stone mill is the third mill that stood on this spot. In 1611 was the Valkenburger stronghold of the mill "De Valck" built. In 1667 was put down a wooden mill here. In 1743 a higher stone mill was built. Falcon was originally equipped with six pairs stones . In the mill were two homes, initially for both owners, later the miller and his servant.
Since June 2, 1966, the mill was used as a municipal mill museum. Since 2000, Falcon again grind. As of June 1, 2013, the Molenmuseum De Valk part of Heritage Leiden and Environs .
It was in 1957 in the vicinity of the mill Liberation Monument of Peter Starreveld posted.

Another set for my ongoing project around a group of street performers in my home town that like to play with fire. I hope I was able to capture this lady's grace in these images as her interplay with the fire was entrancing.

We found this cat family outside Ortakoy Mosque. As we were leaving, the mama cat came around the corner with a couple of small fish in her mouth.
She delivered the fish to her kittens and went back for more. We think a friendly fisherman was her supplier.
What fun the kittens had with their supper!

Seeing the potential for a nice sunset I decided to take a trip down to Freathy to catch the last rays of light. When I arrived the sun had dipped behind some clouds and I was beginning to doubt how much colour we would get but as I’d driven there I thought I might as well head down the steep path to the beach anyway… I passed another tog on the way down and he’d obviously had the same doubts as me and decided to head home.
Luckily I was rewarded with some fantastic colours, especially the afterglow where the sky truly came alive. I did spare a thought for the other tog as I made my way back up to the car, sometimes it’s hard to judge how well a sunset will evolve!
