It was a really nice evening tonight catching up with two former colleagues, Paul and Matt, who I worked with at Anfield.
We met at Matt's flat which I had an inkling was somewhere on the waterfront. The thing that nobody mentioned was that it was on the 23rd floor.
Did I mention that I'm not good with heights? ;)
Most well known Orthodox Church of Georgia. Built in 14th Century. Gergeti is the name of a village, which does not exist any more. Orthodox services were forbidden during Soviet time. The church is to be found in the present village of Stepansminda.
A branch from the Forks of Ivey stream at a location near our home in Mars Hill, North Carolina, on November 1, 2005. Some folks are found along this branch of the Forks of Ivey fishing at various times of the years, especially when the water is fairly high like it is in the scene.
This is looking east to Poughkeepsie NY from the Highland side...this was the first time I walked over this
Cammo House Stables ruin
Can see a lot more of it now after the removal of all the overgrown bushes and trees by the Friends Of Cammo Volunteer group
Due to the sloping hill and only having the 35mm lens on camera (need to invest in a decent wide angle zoom ) this shot is actually made up from a 4 image stacked panorama using Autostitch

Duddingston Loch is the only natural freshwater loch in the City of Edinburgh and the largest of the three in Holyrood Park.
In winters past (before global warming) it was regularly frozen solid enough for Edinburgh residents to be able to either ice skate on or for stone Curling games to be played on it
Now it is an important bird sanctuary for the breeding and wintering wildfowl and herons.
Other inhabitants include the great Crested Grebe ,swans ducks and geese.The loch is surrounded by mixed woodland,grassland ponds and on the south shore reedbeds which are part of the Bawsinch Nature Reserve.
