We went over the Canadian side to get the best views of the horseshoe falls. It's really strange to see Niagara Falls---they almost didn't seem real! They are massive. The amount of mist those falls generate was quite impressive.
I'm a complainer! You would think I would be happy that we didn't have the thick grey clouds but it was near 100 degrees on this day---quite toasty.

As you enter the Pine Avenue Strip, better known as "Little Italy" to the natives of Niagara, you are greeted by a beautiful archway depicting the ethnicity of the area. While walking or driving the street, stop in at one of our famous food establishments for a taste of our culture - you won't be disappointed!

This is Niagara Falls. I must say, I was a bit diappointed with Niagara. From all the photos or TV footage I've seen of the waterfall, it always appeared to be huge and wonderous. Standing there, overlooking the waterfall, I was amazed that it was so small. I was also very very cold and the wind was so strong; I just wanted to leave and continue on to Toronto. A very disappointing day, that; it ruined my dreams of Niagara Falls.
