The Niagara river splits into two 'streams' above the Falls to create the American Falls on the left, and the Horseshoe Falls on the right.
There is always a heavy spray from the incredible amount of falling waters so cameras get wet pretty quickly, even up to a half kilometer away!
La rivière Niagara se divise en deux «ruisseaux» au-dessus des chutes pour créer les chutes américaines sur la gauche, et les chutes Horseshoe sur la droite.
Il y a toujours une forte pulvérisation de la quantité incroyable d'eau qui tombe, donc les caméras se mouillent assez rapidement, même jusqu'à un demi-kilomètre!

The building is at the end of Niagara Fall's old downtown. Seems to have housed a lot of different things over the years but originally was partly occupied by an early branch of the Royal Bank.
We'd paid a bit extra for a hotel room with a view - it was worth it! The American falls to the left and the Horseshoe falls to the right. Foreground is Canada, across the river is the USA. Two shots stitched together taken from Room 1111 of the Niagara Falls Marriott Fallsview Hotel & Spa
Here is a tighter crop taken that evening at Niagara Falls - here was zoomed in a little more with the 17/55mm lens. This allowed me to get better details on the water flow as it starts to make its descent there, as well as picking up the large tree that was stuck there in the flow right at the edge of the falls.
For this image that was zoomed in more, I had to only clone out two small branches that were sticking up into the frame along the riverbank.
