Inside pages of a newsletter from September 1949 from Almo Radio, which was a Philadelphia based radio and television shop.
This is the inside page of a newsletter I'm trying to help another local church with.
The background is that way because it matches the background on their website. I'm not thrilled with the way the text shows up. Any thoughts about that?
None of the art in this is stolen. Some of it is stock photo...and the "In God We Trust" piece is an idea I got from jimbabwe_23's piece on here...with his permission. It's not his piece...but his piece is where the thought originated from.
P.S. This is my first try at this. I'm not a designer, I'm a pastor who has to do his own design out of necessity. And I'm just trying to help another church in the same situation.

Letterpress Custom Newsletter: Sharpest Tool in the Shed. Customized monthly newsletter for a general contractor. Design includes a lot of custom components to convey the sense of process to recipients, primarily architects in the Boulder / Denver area. Interior content designed to spin to the side rather than "turning" the page. *Note: interiors were not letterpress printed.
I did the best I could to understand what you guys were talking about. I hope this is getting better????
Thanks for your help!!

The Zeiss Batis 40mm F2 CF (Close Focus) is the newest lens in the Batis series from Zeiss, which is an autofocusing!!! lineup for Sony FE. The Batis 40CF brings excellent autofocus, great image quality (with one quirk that my review covers), and the ability to get really great "close up" photos with stunning detail. Not quite a macro lens, but extremely useful nonethless. A great lens for wedding and portrait photographers because of the creative options this close focus releases. You can see my coverage here:

My secretary asked me for a portrait of myself, to place near my column in the newsletter. I looked back over my selfies, but none seemed appropriate. So, I snapped one specifically for Monica to use -- and for this week's Sunday Selfie! HSS, everyone!
