The weather went from raining to cloudy to sunny and back to raining so on and so forth. Typical lol

You can see how much the tide drops during the series of photos. In such a short amount of time, the time drops dramatically and at such a speed as it usually does on high springs.

Workers at work pumping thousands of litres of petrol and diesel from an overturned fuel tanker on the main Derry to Dublin road just outside the village of Newbuildings in Derry/Londonderry on Friday afternoon.

The accident blocked the road in both directions for most of the day causing severe congestion for a while and disruption to traffic which had to be diverted off the main road.

Emergency services and quick response units worked hand in hand with the rivers agency, roads service and other bodies as it was feared that fuel could leak downhill into the River Foyle some 150 yards away. It's thought that this has been prevented as a containment boom was quickly put in place and storm drains leading to the river covered as the clean up operation got under way.

Quite a sight over the last couple of days on New Quay Road, near the port of Poole.

They are building a small block of flats on the site of the Ferryman Pub, and have brought in these modular sections.

They were transported yesterday as a "wide load" and blocked the road for a while, until they manoeuvred into place to be lifted by this large crane.

New-build Collett 68XX 4-6-0 No 6880 'BETTON GRANGE' is seen at Loughborough Central, on January 25th 2025.

The Grange Class was extinct until 2024, when 6880 was completed. The GWR built 80 of them, numbered 6800 - 6879. The final examples were withdrawn at the end of 1965, and scrapped in 1966.

6880s chimney was removed from 6868 when that loco was being scrapped. She was completed at Tyseley, and first steamed in 2024.
