Yesterday morning at lake Ammersee. No snow, but beautiful flog and a few geese. Such a calm landscape is really mindblowing!

Deviate from the norm. Go off the beaten path. Stand out. The world does not benefit from you hiding your badassery. ✌️

📷 Photo captures a rare albino Bluebonnet, standing out in a sea of violet-blue in the Texas Hill Country. A white Bluebonnet! A Blanco-bonnet, if you will. (Or, would it be Blanca-bonnet??) On paper, this non-pigmented flower is genetically “flawed.” Yet, from the human perspective, said “flaw” is the exact trait that creates a beautiful contrast to the norm. Perspective is everything.

Finally got some decent weather the other day; and by 'decent' I mean I only had to wear three layers of clothes instead of ten, and we actually got to see the sun for the first time in days! So a little New England winter adventure was a must. | West Cornwall, CT

Here's a shot that I've been waiting for. That is for two main reasons. The first being that I now about 16 years living at lake geneva I never managed to make a shot that I really thought worked by itself. The region is beautiful and I have the privilege to enjoy it on a daily basis but I always felt like my pictures weren't capturing it. The second is that it's been more than a year I made a photo I was happy with. I made a lot of pictures but nothing too great. So I decided to really go through tutorials on the net about lightroom and editing or just look a the work of others I liked. I also though a lot about composition in general. From all that I learned a lot and there is much more I still want to learn which gets me excited again to go out there and shoot cool stuff. I'm leaving for Greece tomorrow so I hope that it's a good playground.

Unterwegs beim Weihnachtsbesuch zu Hause.
Manchmal hat man einfach Glück mit dem Wetter. Umso besser, wenn man so gut wie immer eine Kamera dabei hat, um dann damit etwas anzufangen.

Because when you spend time traveling by foot, surrounded by nature, you will notice & experience the smallest of happenings -- like a tiny little hummingbird landing on a tree branch for just a handful of seconds before buzzing off, leaving not a trace of it's brisk visit. | Phoenix Mountains Preserve, AZ
