Featuring

Dom Rodwell (JWT Cheetham Bell)

Mark Gorton (Park Networks)

Nick Hanson (Conker Media)

In the age of multi-platform media, shifting audiences demand access to new types of content, in new formats, through new channels, using new technologies.

Transmission #4 turns the spotlight on three organisations forced to meet their shifting audiences - in different places, via different methods - and asks them how they’ve achieved it.

Dom Rodwell will set the scene by boldly predicting the death of the website while Mark Gorton and Nick Hanson will be telling stories from their respective experiences in print media and TV.

All-comers from across the digital industries are welcome - company leaders, coders, creatives, managers and freelancers alike.

If within 5 seconds of seeing this and you recognize what all these numbers and codes represent, then you are a fellow airlines nerd! Welcome to my world :D

Even though it is named Hong Kong Airlines here, at one point, I wanted my imaginary airline to be called Pioneer Air (silly name, I know).

I'm a weirdo and a nerd. No, not the gaming or Cosplay sort of nerd, but an airline nerd. I'm very fascinated by airlines operations and have a collection of airlines schedules/ timetables.

Also, when I was a teen, I would spend hours and hours developing complex but realistic flight schedules pretending that I had a fleet of airliners.

Those two (not purchased at the same time) filter pretty much everything except the monitors. Notice how the left one has coffee stains on the left side. Hell, as far as I can tell the right-side UPS is the only thing in the whole server closet that does NOT have coffee stains on it.
