Network Southeast Class 101 set No. L838 [53308, 59125 and 53331] departs Redhill working an empty stock movement to the sidings between duties on the service to Tonbridge
Class 466. 466026. 2-NET. Networker. Electric Multiple Unit. In Southeastern Trains livery. Operating the 2S37 1250 London Cannon Street to Orpington Service. Seen at Hither Green Station.
Network Rail did a bit of pruning the week I visited and the large tree adjacent the road bridge, station side, has now gone. You can just about see the sawdust left on the bank next to the parapet. This enables a wider shot without loosing part of the train. 66755, wedded to the Arcow for the week, passes over Ribblehead Viaduct with the 6M33, Arcow to Pendleton (BRNDLE HTH). 8/3/17

Finally caught up with 66731, after being reliveried into a special scheme for the NHS, as well as naming after Captain Tom Moore. Seen with 465910 on 5X89 Slade Green to Doncaster, passing Chiltern Green.
This necklace started as a ball bearing that came off of my boyfriend's "Nordic Track". Once cleaned up, it was a functional/industrial/beautiful object just waiting to be worn. I first built it into a ring, but that wasn't right. It then became a pendent- that was a little better. But I knew I had to build a blindingly brilliant necklace around it. Perfect.
Besides the ball bearing, I used lots of steel wire, and a shade of copper wire called "gun metal" (though it seems to have a brownish tone). Also in the mix: a silver filigree earring, fresh water pearls, mother-of-pearl buttons, rhinestones, screw eyes, glass beads, a giant embroidery needle, vintage chain, vintage buttons, a belt buckle, a 'chain maille' earring, and an intricate network of woven wire...Even with all that, I'm sure I left something out.

I was going to title this one "working the room" but thought that might imply something less than honorable so I'm not going to call it "working the room"
I can't recall where this illustration came from. It might be a detail from a magazine story or possibly an ad. Going thru some old stuff and seeing what I've saved.

To explain this picture I will better start from the beginning. Well I was watching Styling Forward yesterday and they get a challenge for next week what I liked a lot and even I am not in this contest I like challenges a lot. So I decided for myself I do this one just for fun.
The challenge was "Superhero" and may some have a superhero in mind like a girl in very tight short pants and a cape and maybe some with big boobs also, but for me a superhero is someone very tough even if it is a woman. Superheros are fighter, protector and I tried to create my view of a superhero with this kind of mystique, darkness and a bit creepy around her.
My character is named "Isais the Hunter" as she protect all human from creatures out of the hell who comes up to rule the world in their way.
Isais is born out of exactly that what she tries to destroy now. She is a creature out of the hell but with a human mother. As all heros have a little helper, hers is the dead dragon Makrok on her shoulder to give her tips and sometimes the right decision also. And as it is in comics, of course he is talking to much^^
Isais weapons are her power who are more strong then of a normal human, her titanium katanas what she always wears on her left hip with skulls at the end and her, she calls it her "Babies", the Sickles what she wears on her back if she don´t need them.
As I know that this challenge is next week I will not write some credits below. So it is just a picture to watch and to enjoy :D

This is my networking stuff - I had to mount all this a bit lower than the very top of the rack as I had wanted, because my Ethernet cables were just barely too short to reach the very top if I bundled them all up neatly on the sides. Go figure.
From top to bottom:
- Unifi AP-AC: I run a few wireless networks off of this to get into my LAN when I'm lazy and not at my desk. It works real well, especially since it lets me run several different SSIDs going into different VLANs. I use WPA2-Enterprise authentication against AD for my main network, then an SSID with a guest portal for guest wireless, and another one with plain WPA2 for IoT-type devices.
- Unifi Switch US-16-XG: 10Gb "backbone" switch. 16 sexy ports of 10Gb goodness, 4 of which are copper. One of the ports is configured as a trunk to my Catalyst 3560E.
- Cisco Catalyst 3560E: 48 10/100/1000 Ethernet ports, plus two 10Gb ports. Pretty much everything is plugged in here. I have a little bit of a color scheme going on - black is management, green are 802.1q trunks, and blue are servers. The grey cord was the only cord I had laying around that could reach under my bed. :(

Got a new Keri Smith book for Christmas... This is Not a Book. Had so much fun with her Wreck This Journal.
This is the first page I did. The instructions on this page (now obscured) say:
"This is a network. Make an arrangement of intersecting lines, going every which way."
