Hundreds of forest-loving partygoers danced the night away on October 16 at RAN's annual benefit bash, REVEL, at the stunning California Academy of Sciences in Golden Gate Park. We heard from world-renowned mother/daughter sustainable food experts Frances Moore Lappé and Anna Lappé, and RAN executive director, Lindsey Allen. Later in the evening there was dancing and music, featuring a stunning concert with Cuban singer/songwriter Carlos Varela and his special guest Jackson Browne, hip-hop superstars Earth Amplified, DJ Ry Toast, incredible auction items and endless cocktails, wine, micro brews, and delicious organic local cuisine. Crucial funds were raised for Rainforest Action Network and everyone had a truly stellar evening.
Plan on coming to REVEL October 2014 - you won't want to miss it!
