Under Secretary of the Army Patrick Murphy, visited the team in NETCOM's Fusion Center, where a dedicated crew monitors a large portion of the Army's global network. Undersecretary Murphy visited U.S. Army Fort Huachuca and NETCOM to receive a first-hand look at what the installation and units do for the Army every day.

Honoring military tradition, oldest veteran Jerry Coniglio, 96, with service in WWII, and youngest Soldier Pfc. Outside the NETCOM Headquarters, the command inducted Maj. Michael Donahue into the Signal Cove of Remembrance, and rededicated the memorial. The Cove, dedicated to Signal Soldiers and Civilians who died in service to their country since Sept. 11, 2001, now has 101 names and images on the wall.

Jeanna Garland, NETCOM G5 and a fixture in NETCOM for decades is hanging up her spurs and retiring after 36 years of dedicated service to the nation, our great Army, and this command. Garland received her retirement certificate and other recognitions during a retirement ceremony in the command’s headquarters, Dec. 16. Presiding over the ceremony and guest speaker was Mr. Patrick Dedham, Deputy to the Commanding General and the command’s senior civilian.
