Jeanna Garland, NETCOM G5 and a fixture in NETCOM for decades is hanging up her spurs and retiring after 36 years of dedicated service to the nation, our great Army, and this command. Garland received her retirement certificate and other recognitions during a retirement ceremony in the command’s headquarters, Dec. 16. Presiding over the ceremony and guest speaker was Mr. Patrick Dedham, Deputy to the Commanding General and the command’s senior civilian.

The Sierra Vista Chamber of Commerce Military Affairs Committee hosted their annua Bring a Vet to Lunch event at the Thunder Mountain Activity Center here Nov. 6, 2019. Guest speaker Maj. Gen. Maria Barrett, commanding general of NETCOM shared how her father's military service influenced her life choices. Veterans from different generations with service in a variety of conflicts attended. Honoring military tradition, oldest veteran Jerry Coniglio, 96, with service in WWII, and youngest Soldier Pfc. NETCOM Deputy Commanding General, Maj. Gen. Christopher L. Eubank presented the Meritorious Civilian Service Medal to Brooke J. Henderson, Contracting Officer, U.S. Army Contracting Command-APG, April 6, in Greely Hall, Fort Huachuca, Ariz. Henderson was recognized for her outstanding support to NETCOM and other Army units across the global command, as she continuously demonstrated a high-degree of proficiency in all her actions directly contributing to NETCOM’s global mission. Along with the award, MG Eubank also presented Henderson with a NETCOM Command Coin.

Fort Huachuca's warrant officers, past and present, gathered for a celebration of 105th birthday of the cohort hosted by Chief Warrant Officer of the MI Corps Peter Davis and Command Chief Warrant Officer of NETCOM Deshaun Bell in Fitch Auditorium July 7. Warrants representing Military Intelligence, Signal, Aviation, Field Artillery, Staff Judge Advocate, Adjutant General, Military Police, Ordnance, and Quarter Master serve across the installation.
