Whether at this same location or not I do not know, but this company has been in business in Richmond since 1945.

After 75 years, this University District fishmonger and butcher announced they will close, December 31 2019.
Red Mill Burgers, Interbay, Seattle. Established 1998.
Red Mill takes its name from an older Seattle restaurant, which operated between 1937 and 1967. The two sisters of the owner of the present Red Mill had worked at the original - and brought home food for the family - so the name was chosen as a tribute.
The Tucson Inn, which opened in 1953, was shut down by the city in May, 2017, for building-code violations. The owners say they expect to re-open in the fall.
Maybe. It might be just as well if they don't.
Here's the first paragraph of one of the more charitable Yelp reviews...
"Do the world a favor: rent a bulldozer and drive it into the Tucson Inn. Bury the owners, squatters, broken cars, and semi-feral dogs under a pile of cinderblocks and ashes. But leave the sign--it's iconic and visiting photographers would have to take original pictures without it."
The Zia Lodge in Clovis is just a ghost of its former self but it's wonderful the sign still survives and can be enjoyed on a visit to town. And that "apartments" script is amazing.
