Image composite from a street shot I took in Macau, I added all the neon signs, smoke, lens flare, water puddles and changed the color grading.
This might well be the last neon left in Launceston. In the 1960s there were plenty of neon signs to light up the night. www.youtube.com/watch?v=mlklnP25_2A&t=23s (check out the night street scene at 17.40).

Saw a random Coors neon sign and stopped to catch a quick portrait around it. Not as much neon as I had hoped for around the area, but that's sort of how things are now, a lot few neon signs.

Hey, I've got my own neon sign, of course I had to shoot it. This is one of the many neon signs in Pueblo's nearly famous Neon Alley. If you're a lover of neon signs, you've got to check it out. But go early, lights are off at 11 pm.

This is an old neon sign for a local cafe. I thought the contrail from the plane took on an interesting appearance. It's my first attempt at an HDR image.
A plethora of signs on buildings in Kabukichō, an entertainment and red-light district in Shinjuku, Tokyo. With the high density of love hotels, hostess clubs, shops, restaurants and nightclubs, all information (here in the form of neon signs) is spread also vertically up, something typical of Japan that has the untrained visitor not finding what she/he is looking for.
Here's a neon cuckoo bee (Thyreus nitidulus) visiting the perennial basil in our Brisbane garden.
The female of this species lays eggs in the nest of female Amegillas (blue-banded bees) and its larvae eat the food the Amegilla had provided for its own larvae.

The nostalgia of the 1950's is preserved with glowing neon and classic cars at the Blue Swallow Motel off of Route 66 in Tucumcari, New Mexico.
Overlooking the Puerta del Sol square, this neon sign promotes a popular sherry brand. The sign was taken down for a long time, but due to public outcry, the sign was reinstalled.
