Runnin and gunnin down Hollywood Blvd on a Saturday night in July 2021. It was crazy and I didn't stop for more than a few seconds at a time. Thousands of people to see from all walks of life, local and tourist.
I have more images coming from this visit of the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The Neon Cuckoo Bee (Thyreus nitidulus) is a strikingly beautiful, metallic blue and black native Australian bee known for its parasitic behavior, laying its eggs in the nests of other bees, especially Blue-banded Bees (Amegilla species). These cleptoparasitic bees don't build their own nests; instead, the larvae hatch first, consume the host's pollen provisions, and starve the host's young. They are valuable pollinators despite their sneaky lifestyle, often found in gardens sipping nectar from flowers like basil.
I was following a Butterfly on the Buddleia when I spotted this beautiful blue Bee, shining bright in the sunshine and knew that I had never seen any before. On iNaturalist, this is my observation No.579. /

One day he found it — his place.
Two neon signs glowing over a forgotten floor,
a place he’d dreamed without knowing.
He killed the engine, stepped down,
and in the quiet he gazed at the horizon.
Nothing. Only emptiness.
But the neons kept burning, bright and fierce,
like they had been waiting for him all this time.
In that moment he knew:
he’d reached a special place—
a place no one ever does.
